Leaving the Wrong Love Behind Forever novel Chapter 607

It was almost twelve o'clock when Sylvia returned to the old house.

It was dark inside, and everyone was already asleep.

She turned on the flashlight of her mobile phone, walked to the corridor, and looked upstairs.

The children should all be sleeping well. Amelia can take care of them. If not, Arthur will check on them.

She didn't want to go up because Arthur and Sheryl were upstairs, and she didn't want to see them at all.

She turned and walked towards the bedroom on the first floor.

Tomorrow, guests will arrive one after another, and she will be much busier than yesterday.

She pushed open the bedroom door, put her bag on the coat rack nearby, and walked into the shower room.

The smell of alcohol on Charles's body was still strong on her clothes. When she helped him, she also sweated a lot and needed to take a shower first.

In the shower room.

Sylvia was taking off her clothes.

Suddenly,

The door opened.

"Ah." She turned around and saw a man in pajamas standing behind her with a frighteningly cold face. She screamed in fright and immediately tightened her clothes to her chest and turned around.

"Arthur, are you sick? You stayed up so late and came to my bathroom." She was very angry and glared at the man in front of her.

Arthur pursed his lower lip, took a few steps closer, suddenly grabbed her wrist, and asked, "What did you do tonight?"

"Nothing." Sylvia avoided his aggressive gaze and wanted to throw away his hand.

"Speak quickly." Arthur sniffed. She smelled of alcohol and was exuding a terrifying cold air. "My patience is limited."

Sylvia was inexplicably afraid.

She couldn't bear the man's madness.

"Are you monitoring me?"

"Monitor you? You don't deserve me to monitor you." Arthur felt guilty but refused to admit it.

"Then how did you know he hugged me?"

"You smell of alcohol all over your body. If he hadn't hugged you, how could you be smelling so bad?"

Sylvia felt slightly relieved after hearing that explanation. It would be terrible if the man monitored her all the time.

"He was drunk. I and his assistant just helped him get into the car. There is nothing wrong with that. Get out of here and don't waste my time."

"Answer me first, what did you do with him tonight?"

Sylvia's eyes widened: "He is already drunk, what else can he do?"

"Hey, Sylvia, do you really not understand or are you pretending not to understand? Don't you know where the phrase "having sex under the influence of alcohol" came from?"

After he said that, Sylvia was stunned for a moment, and her face turned red from anger.
