"Little ones, stop playing games and come here. Auntie has something to tell you." Amelia clapped her hands and shouted loudly.
Chris and Hendrick were head-to-head, and didn't pay attention to her. Jennifer glanced at her, and then went back to watching the game when Chris and Hendrick didn't respond. Elaine simply ignored her.
"Children, I told you to stop playing games. Come here and listen to Auntie." Amelia clapped her hands a few more times and finally turned off the power for them.
Chris and Hendrick stared at her angrily.
"Auntie, I have gold bars, don't you want it anymore?" Hendrick's voice sounded threatening.
Amelia's eyes lit up when she heard this.
Hendrick was a little rich boy, and he was definitely richer than her.
"Hendrick, my little baby, aunt loves you the most. Now if you don't listen to my aunt, there's nothing I can do about it, because your father contacted me, and he asked me to take care of you for the next few days." Amelia hugged Hendrick and kissed him again and again, and even swirled him in a circle.
Hendrick felt a little happy after being coaxed, and asked: "Daddy asked you to take care of us?"
"Yes, your mommy has to be in charge of the upcoming party and she is busy, so I am here to take care of you for three days. During these three days, if you listen to me and behave well, I will buy you lots of candies and chocolates. If you don't behave well, I’ll tell your dad.”
That's it!
Hendrick rolled his eyes. Amelia had taken care of him for a month before.
"Well, we will listen to you for the next three days." Hendrick said to her, "Now, let me go."
Amelia immediately put Hendrick down and stared at him with her eyes wide.
Hendrick walked to his desk, opened the drawer, and took out a gold bar: "Auntie, this is for you."
A pair of cold eyes looked at all this, and the corners of their lips curled into a cold arc.
Amelia was so happy that she got into luck with the little ones and didn't even notice the gloomy eyes outside the window.
At dinner.
Sylvia and Butler Lang went to the warehouse to check the inventory and various furniture and appliances that would be used for the event. When they passed the ancestral hall, they suddenly saw a bright light in the ancestral hall.
Sylvia couldn't help but frown.
The ancestral hall held the ancestral heirlooms and heritage of the Bridgewater family from past dynasties. Unless it was a special occasion, there was usually no one there. How could there be light inside if no one was there?
But at that moment there was light in the hall. Could it be that someone was inside?
