"Hey, let me tell you something." Sylvia stood at the other end of the dining table and spoke calmly.
"What's the matter?" Arthur drank his porridge, raised his eyes, and cast a flirtatious smile towards Sylvia like a hook in his eyes.
Sylvia's face turned red again.
The bastard looked like he was going into heat so early in the morning, and she was really afraid of him.
"Alright." She said seriously, "Yesterday I met Butler Lang and discussed letting him return to Bridgewater mansion to continue being the housekeeper."
"Butler Lang?" Arthur was stunned for a moment, he thought of something, and looked at her: "That's it?"
"Yes."
"From now on, you can decide on such small matters by yourself, without telling me."
"Okay, it's settled then." When Sylvia saw that he agreed, she felt that she had nothing more to say and turned around to leave.
"By the way, you should give Butler Lang a third-level salary increase. He is an old employee of the Bridgewater family and should be given a raise." Arthur suddenly said from behind.
Sylvia was startled, wow, this guy must have discovered his conscience.
"Okay." She responded.
Arthur watched her walk away quickly after she finished speaking. She had no intention of staying for a moment, and a trace of disappointment flashed in his heart.
It was obvious that she really didn't want to be with him, but he really wanted to be with her now.
She wanted to stay away from him, but he wouldn't give her that chance.
"Sylvia, where are you going?" After breakfast, he walked out and saw Sylvia walking outside with her bag, and immediately followed her and asked.
"I am going to the company." Sylvia didn't even look back. She walked quickly as if her feet were oiled, for fear of being entangled with Arthur.
But whatever she was afraid of came to pass, and before she could reach the car, Arthur followed her swiftly.
"I want to go to the company too, let's go together." Before she could enter the car, Arthur opened the car door first. Sylvia was so angry that she really wanted to throw away the car key.
They finally arrived at the Gucci Group building.
Sylvia opened the door and got out of the car.
"Sylvia, is there anything the company needs my help with?" Arthur held her hand and asked with concern.
"Nothing, at all." Sylvia pulled her hand back fiercely, "I'll be thankful if you don't bother me."
She walked quickly towards the president's office, leaving her back to him.
Arthur was stunned for a moment, raised the corners of his lips slightly, got on the elevator and headed towards the second floor.
Sylvia went to the conference room.
Marley, several business managers, and sales managers were all there.
"Miss Lancelot, the police have found Naomi and interrogated her. Naomi had been bribed. Someone gave her fifty thousand dollars to inject formaldehyde and toxic substances into our perfume, and that person also bribed Samuel. He and that couple deliberately caused trouble in the shopping malls. They wanted to completely destroy our company through the media." Marley started to say as soon as Sylvia sat down.
