"Why hasn't Daddy come yet?" After waiting for a while, Chris still didn't see their Daddy's car coming and couldn't help but pout.
"Daddy definitely doesn't agree with us going to find Jennifer." Hendrick analyzed.
"Why would he disagree? Jennifer is our sister.
"But Daddy doesn't know. Don't you see that Daddy doesn't like Jennifer very much?"
Chris nodded after thinking for a while.
Their Daddy really didn't like Jennifer very much. Jennifer tried to get close to him many times, but he just ignored her. Except for the last time, he took the initiative to take Jennifer and Mommy out for dinner, but after that meal, Jennifer stopped coming to school.
"How about we tell Daddy that Jennifer is our biological sister and his daughter." Hendrick suddenly thought.
"Absolutely not, then Daddy will definitely snatch Jennifer away like he snatched me away. Mommy is so pitiful." Chris immediately shook his head.
"You're right, Daddy is such a scumbag." Hendrick sighed sadly.
"What are you talking about?" Elaine was the last to come out. Because Chris and Hendrick rejected her, she could only keep a certain distance from them. But just now she heard Chris say that her father is too scumbag and scold him. And she was not happy anymore.
"I didn't say anything." Chris looked at her with disgust and turned his head.
"Hi, little cuties." After a while, the three of them still did not see Arthur, but instead came Amelia. She was wearing a pink hat, a fur suit, and driving a pink Mercedes. She looked very attractive. As soon as the car window rolled open, she waved to them.
"Auntie, your car is so beautiful." Her fashionable dress quickly attracted Elaine's attention. She was the first to run over in excitement, looking at Amelia with admiration and a smile.
"Tch, Is this not the car in daddy's garage?" Hendrick shrugged dismissively.
There were so many luxury cars in his dad's garage. He had been interested in cars since he was a child, and he remembered many of them. Under the guise of picking them up for Dad, their aunt asked him to let her take the luxury car.
"Chris, come here." Amelia waved to Chris very enthusiastically.
Chris walked up listlessly: "Aunt, where is my daddy? Why are you here to pick us up?"
Amelia picked him up and kissed him hard on the face: "Your dad drank today and can't drive. Wouldn't it be better for me to pick you up?"
In order to show politeness, Chris reluctantly nodded.
"Auntie will take you out to eat delicious food and play in the amusement park today, Is that okay?" Amelia asked in a friendly tone.
"No, I want to see Jennifer." Chris shook his little head.
Suddenly,
Chris added: "It seems to be in my schoolbag. I wanted to give it to mommy at the time, but I forgot about it later."
Amelia was overjoyed when she heard this. She quickly put Chris down, took off his school bag from his back, and turned it inside out.
Seriously?
Lying in the innermost layer of the school bag was the envelope, a thick stack, which she had given him.
"Chris, aunt wants to discuss something with you." She picked up the red envelope with a smile, kissed Chris again and then whispered, "Auntie is a little tight now, so I will borrow this envelope from you to use until I make a lot of money. I’ll give you a bigger red envelope by then, do you agree?”
Chris was so smart he quickly saw through her intention.
"Auntie, if you can take us to see Mommy and Jennifer, I won't ask for the envelope again." Anyway, he was not short of money. He didn't care.
"Okay, okay." Amelia agreed with a smile, she quickly put the big envelope into her bag, turned around and carried Chris into the car.
In the past, she thought that since Arthur gave her a gold card which contained a lot of pocket money, it was no big deal to give them an envelope. But now, Arthur had taken the card from her, and she was tight on money, so she had remembered the money in the envelope she gave to Chris.
