Leaving the Wrong Love Behind Forever novel Chapter 470

"Chris, where is Bernard? Has he really been expelled?" Elaine asked in a low voice, sitting next to Chris.

"That coward only does bad things to sow discord between people, so of course he had to be expelled." Chris clenched his little fist and answered in relief.

"Oh." Elaine responded and shrank back.

Sylvia looked at Elaine.

She hadn't seen her for a long time. It seems that Arthur plans to take Elaine to the Bridgewater Mansion to live with Christopher and the others.

Unexpectedly, as soon as she looked over, she met the little girl's eyes.

After Elaine saw her, her eyes dodged, and she immediately avoided her.

Sylvia was stunned, suddenly remembered something, and asked: "Elaine, is your seat far away from Bernard's seat?"

She asked, seemingly unintentionally.

Elaine didn't answer.

"Mommy, she's sitting behind Bernard." Jennifer answered for her.

"Oh." Sylvia nodded slightly and smiled at Elaine: "Elaine, did you see Bernard calling Jennifer a bastard?"

Elaine lowered her head and played with her fingers without saying anything.

"Elaine has always been a good child and won't tell lies, right?" Sylvia's tone was gentle.

Elaine nodded casually.

Sylvia looked at Elaine, her eyes getting deeper and deeper. She immediately thought of the vicious look in Carole's eyes as she hit her. It definitely didn't look like she was asking for an explanation for the child, but more like she was trying to achieve some purpose. Like she was looking for trouble and revenge.

She looked out the car window.

Outside, a fat child ran towards them, crying as he ran.

"Stop, stop, stop quickly." Sylvia suddenly shouted loudly.

Arthur stopped the car suddenly, his eyebrows knitted together.

"What are you doing? Do you know we are on the middle of the road?"

Sylvia was too lazy to answer Arthur's question, so she opened the car door and walked towards the child.

Sure enough!

"Does your mommy know about this?"

Bernard lowered his head and nodded.

"Auntie, I was wrong. Please don't expel me, okay? I promise not to bully Jennifer again."

Sylvia's face turned pale. After a long time, she touched Bernard's fat head and said, "Stop running around and wait here until your mommy comes for you."

She turned and walked towards the Rolls-Royce.

"What have you been doing?" Arthur asked, dissatisfied after she got in the car.

But Sylvia lowered her head and said nothing.

Arthur shook his head and started the car.

Sylvia sat leaning against the car window with her eyes slightly closed, silent along the way.
