"Of course, I believe it!" Sylvia crossed her arms and spoke sarcastically, "You have always been ruthless, powerful and cold. I know that very well, but you do things fairly. You ask both sides before judging things, am I wrong?"
"What do you mean?"
"What do I mean?" Sylvia raised her eyebrows, "I don't know if you are pretending to be stupid or just being dumbfounded. Let me ask you, before I hit her, do you know what she did to me?"
Arthur was silent for a moment, then suddenly pushed Sheryl away from his arms and looked at her with cold eyes.
Sheryl panicked and immediately explained with tears,
"Arthur, a while ago, she asked my secretary to take and destroy all the perfumes in the warehouse that I had planned to sell. I got angry and said few words to her, and she chased me out and beat me."
She said it very pitifully, looking so miserable!
Arthur’s sinister eyes narrowed.
"Mr. Bridgewater, you'd better ask the secretary first. She was there." Sylvia said with a sneer.
The secretary who was standing stupidly beside him, was frightened by this scene. When she met Arthur's cold eyes, she was trembling with fear.
"Say it." Arthur shouted.
She opened her mouth to speak, but when she raised her eyes, she saw Sheryl's warning and stern gaze. She was frightened into a cold sweat again.
There were rumors in the company that Mr. Bridgewater is going to marry Ms. Sheryl. How could she dare to offend the future Mrs. Bridgewater? Besides, she had long been her confidant.
"Mr. Bridgewater, Ms. Sheryl is right." She cleared her voice and replied in a low voice.
Sylvia sneered when she heard this, "Mr. Bridgewater's eyes will always be blind, and they can't be cured even if they are actually cured."
Arthurs's body trembled, and he immediately blurted out, "What do you mean by this?"
"It's nothing." Sylvia said coldly, "It will be difficult for our cooperation to continue. Please hire someone else. I can't do it anymore."
She turned and left.
Arthur suddenly rushed forward, grabbed her arm, and pressed her against the wall.
Sylvia felt a pain in her back, which made her face change color.
She glared at him angrily.
