The next day.
In the Bridgewater Mansion courtyard.
"Mr. Bridgewater, I want to check the surveillance." Sylvia made her request to Arthur.
Arthur coldly glanced at her and sneered, "Last night, weren't you showing off your skill? People who show off usually don't end well."
Sylvia was so angry that her face turned red, and she retorted in dissatisfaction, "Last night, I only danced to Zander's two songs. There were at least dozens of dance songs throughout the night. Why was it just me who was the one standing out to you? You have always been prejudiced against me. Besides, last night was Zanders birthday, and he invited me to dance. How could I refuse?"
"Yeah, cousin. It's really not Sylvia's fault. It's just my fault. I invited her here, and I didn't expect that kind of thing. It's my guard that wasn't strict enough. I deserve to be punished." Zander said with a gloomy face.
"Don't worry, once we find out what happened, you won't escape punishment." Arthur glared at him fiercely.
Thinking of the scene of him snatching Sylvia away and dancing with her last night, he wanted to break his head now.
Zander took a few steps back and hid behind Sylvia.
"By the way, Mr. Bridgewater, that drink, there must be a problem with that drink." At that moment, Charles remembered something and immediately said, "What about that waiter? Call her over and interrogate her."
Arthur sneered, "Don't worry, I will investigate them one by one. I hope the results are not too embarrassing."
Charles's brows furrowed as he heard this. The scissors in Sylvia's hand stabbed him in the back last night. Fortunately, Sylvia was sore and weak, so the stab was not heavy. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to get up now, and he would also be the victim! But now, listening to Arthur's tone as if he had planted the medicine made him feel uneasy.
After a while, they all went to the security room, and the waitress was called over.
"Mr. Bridgewater, Mr. Arthur, this is really none of my business." The waitress saw so many dignitaries present; her legs trembled with fear, and she spoke with a dejected face.
The surveillance footage was quickly pulled up.
"Yes, it's her." When the surveillance showed Sheryl sitting at the round table instructing the waitress to give drinks to Sylvia and Charles, everyone present understood what was going on and turned their attention to Arthur. The waitress immediately pointed at Sheryl and shouted excitedly.
Arthur's face was immediately covered with a thick layer of frost.
He began to check all the surveillance footage.
It's just that!
When he checked all the surveillance footage, there was no evidence that Sheryl had drugged the drink.
The surveillance only showed that she poured two drinks and instructed the waiter to give them to the guests. Even in the surveillance footage, it could not be determined that she instructed the waiter to give them to Sylvia and Charles. Although the waiter could testify, it would only be able to prove that she was the one who instructed her to give it to them, and it couldn't play a decisive role.
