Arthur looked over and saw a few little ones from the Bridgewater family playing together, having a good time. Fireworks were set off all over the sky.
"Daddy, I want to play with them, please don't send me away." Elaine tearfully shook Arthur's big hand.
She pouted, her nose turned red, and tears welled up in her eyes.
Sheryl immediately looked sorry for her daughter and couldn't bear it, pleading:
"Arthur, Elaine has been with me every day these days. She's bored, so let her go and play. Tomorrow is also Sunday, she'll be fine."
At that moment, a friend invited Arthur to the card room.
Arthur had no choice but to agree.
"Then take care of Elaine. If she's tired, take her home immediately." Before leaving, he instructed Sheryl.
Sheryl happily agreed.
As soon as Arthur left, Elaine went over there to play, and Sheryl went back to the dance floor.
Zander was dancing heartily with a group of beautiful women in the center of the stage, and the women screamed from time to time.
She looked around for Sylvia's trace.
Sylvia was no longer on the dance floor.
Where did that woman go?
In the lounge next door.
She walked over there.
"This is a rose fragrance, the latest model, improved on the basis of No. 1, here, let me give you a bottle to try."
The drink was cold and comfortable to drink, so she simply drank it all in one gulp.
Charles personally cooperated with Sylvia's work and said a lot. When he saw the drink brought by the waiter, he didn't think much about it. He picked up the other glass and drank it all in one gulp, too.
Sheryl watched them each drink; a smug smile flashed in her eyes, and she walked towards the other side.
"Miss Jackson, hello." Zia was sitting quietly in a corner, her big, bright eyes resting on Charles, never leaving. Charles's intimate interaction with Sylvia made her feel like she was being swayed. Sheryl walked over, greeted her warmly, and sat down opposite her.
"Miss Lancelot, do you need something?" Seeing that it was Sheryl, she replied lightly.
"Miss Jackson, I heard that you and Mr. Jacobs are getting married soon, so you must invite me to your wedding. I'm looking forward to it." Sheryl had a bright smile on her face.
Zia glanced at Sheryl's fawning face and frowned.
She didn't have a good impression of Sheryl, and she didn't want to have anything to do with her. Hearing her words, she only smiled politely and didn't want to say more.
