Leaving the Wrong Love Behind Forever novel Chapter 396

"Get in the car." Arthur threw the bag into the car and ordered her.

Sylvia pouted, glared at him, and entered the car.

The car drove towards the Bridgewater Mansion.

The Bridgewater Mansion was located in the city center. It consisted of a magnificent main building with splendid golden decorations and a row of annexes. It had gardens, bungalows, and entertainment venues. It was definitely considered a wealthy household in Paris.

As soon as Arthur's Rolls-Royce Phantom drove in, Sylvia saw Zander, who was standing at the entrance of the glorious golden gate, looking around. He was probably looking for her.

"Sylvia, my goddess, you look so beautiful tonight, really, you are my true love." As soon as Sylvia got out of the car, Zander's peach blossom eyes saw her. Sylvia was so beautiful that night, dressed in a black evening gown. The evening gown made her look like a fairy who had descended into the mortal world, especially the pure and noble temperament she had, which gave off mystery and nobility. This could make any man fall for her; he greeted her with big strides while complimenting her.

Sylvia smiled and turned to get the bag of leaflets.

"Sylvia, what is this?" Zander immediately asked eagerly, helping her take it out.

Sylvia glanced at Arthur, who had just gotten out of the car, afraid that the man would laugh at her, but she didn't answer.

"It doesn't matter. I'll get someone to take it to the lobby, and I'll help you distribute it together later." Zander glanced at the leaflets in the bag and immediately understood what was going on. He smiled considerately and snapped his fingers at a security guard.

Soon, the security guard came over and helped Sylvia carry the bag and left.

Only then did Sylvia feel relieved.

"Sylvia, there's still an hour until the dance starts. Let's go to the side hall to rehearse our dance routine first. After all, we haven't danced in a long time." Zander held Sylvia's hand and was about to lead her away.

Sylvia glanced at Arthur, who was standing aside.

At that time, the man who was dressed in suits and leather shoes, stood aside with a graceful demeanour and an arrogant temperament. However, in contrast to his aura, his face was long, dark, and stiff, as if someone had offended him.

He must be angry.

She danced with Zander, and he didn't know.

"That was six years ago." Sylvia felt a sourness in her heart and replied calmly.

Six years ago, Arthur did not look intently at her. Whenever he saw her, he was as disgusted as seeing a piece of shit. Naturally, he would not notice any improvement in her.

That dance was also an accident. At the banquet held by the Bridgewater family, the young lady was wearing a gorgeous dress, but she stood alone in a corner. After reluctantly accompanying her, Arthur hurriedly left after receiving Sheryl's call, leaving her there alone, at a loss.

At that moment, Zander came and invited her to dance.

It was that dance that completely changed Zander's impression of her. That night, she and Zander dazzled the audience when they danced and got a lot of applause. For the first time, Zander felt that he had gained a lot of respect and he was very happy. But at that time Sylvia was Arthur's wife, and he didn't have the guts to pursue her.

Now that they were divorced, he could openly ask her to dance and pursue her openly.

The reason why today's dinner was so grand was that it was actually held for her. The purpose was to dance gracefully with her, so that he could have a preconceived feeling that they were a natural couple.
