Leaving the Wrong Love Behind Forever novel Chapter 390

"Sylvia, why are you running?" After Arthur finished shopping, he saw that Sylvia was running out hurriedly with her bag. He caught up with her in a few steps, grabbed her arm, pulled her aside, and asked sullenly: "Do you want to rush back to accompany Charles?"

"No, I just want to go back early and work overtime. Uncle Marley just called me to urge me." Sylvia accompanied it with a smile.

Arthur glanced at her face: "You are the boss. Who dares to rush you?"

"Mr. Bridgewater, this is really not a question of whether you dare or not, but the company does have a lot of things to do." Sylvia grimaced.

"You are not allowed to work overtime. We will pick up the children together later." Arthur announced domineeringly. He grabbed her arm and took her to the guest room upstairs. He ordered, "Have a good sleep first."

Sylvia didn't want to sleep, but Arthur's face was so gloomy that she didn't dare to disobey him, so she had to lie down on the bed.

"Just rest. I will call you when the time is up." Arthur told her. He covered her with a quilt, and lay down on the sofa next to her.

Sylvia closed her eyes helplessly.

But as soon as she closed her eyes, she fell into a deep sleep.

She slept in a hazy state until Arthur shook her and she woke up.

"Not bad, you look much better." Arthur looked at her and was very satisfied, "Get up. Let's go pick up the children and take them home together."

"Oh, okay." Sylvia's heart warmed at the mention of the children. She quickly got up to wash up.

After a while, when she came out of the bathroom, Arthur was standing at the door waiting for her.

She quickly picked up her bag and followed to go out.

"Tomorrow night, you and I will go to a dinner party." Arthur held her back and spoke calmly.

Sylvia was stunned and quickly asked: "What kind of dinner?"

"Zander's birthday. He asked you to attend by name." Arthur said calmly.

Sylvia panicked after hearing this and hurriedly walked out.

Arthur's lips curved gracefully.

When they arrived at the kindergarten, Chris and Hendrick were already waiting for them. The two little ones immediately ran up and made their demands. "Daddy, we need to take Jennifer back together. She is frightened. We need to comfort her and protect her in the future."

After hearing this, Sylvia glanced at Arthur: "Christopher, Hendrick, after we went back to your great-grandma's house today, I told her that starting from tomorrow, you will come home with me to stay for a week. Then you’ll come back after a week, so we take turns. Isn’t it nice to stay here?”

Chris and Hendrick nodded in agreement.

Unexpectedly, Arthur's face darkened: "Sylvia, Jennifer has already been followed and kidnapped once at your place. Do you want to harm Chris and Hendrick and let them be kidnapped again?"

"I..." Sylvia stared and was speechless.

"From now on, you and Jennifer will move into the Bridgewater family's old house. From now on, you will live with Chris and Hendrick, and you will be escorted in and out by dedicated cars." Arthur immediately announced.
