Arthur walked to the coffee table and took a cup of boiling water. He turned around and looked at the motionless woman lying on the sofa, and couldn't help but sneered. "Hey, what's wrong with you? Do you still want to stay with me?"
But Sylvia remained motionless, her hands just covering her stomach tightly.
After a while, he heard Sylvia's slight groan of pain, frowned, and walked over to ask. "What's wrong with you?"
At this time, Sylvia was close to unconsciousness due to the severe pain in her stomach.
Arthur waited for a while and felt something was wrong, so he bent down and saw Sylvia's face was as pale as paper, with pain all over her face.
Now, he panicked.
Wasn't he just kissing her? Although it took a long time, it wasn't like that.
"Sylvia, wake up." He patted her face.
"Mom, it hurts so much." Sylvia muttered in confusion.
The night was quiet, and Arthur finally heard clearly.
"Where does it hurt?" He asked hurriedly, and patted her face again, "What's wrong with you?"
Was it because of him?
But there was no reply from Sylvia. After several more consecutive pats, Sylvia finally woke up. As soon as she opened her eyes, she felt a sharp pain in her stomach again. After she groaned in pain, she closed her eyes weakly.
"Do you have a stomachache?" Arthur asked quickly as he watched her hands stroking her abdomen.
"Yes, it hurts." Sylvia was furious, "Help me go back to the guest room."
She didn't want to stay with him like this. Being alone with him was too ambiguous.
"Why do you suddenly have a stomachache?" Arthur frowned. The woman's pale face did look wrong. He touched her little hand and found it was cold.
Then, he ordered the kitchen to make brown sugar ginger water. He skillfully brought hot water, wrung out the towel, and wiped her cold fingers.
Heat came from her fingers, and Sylvia opened her eyes with difficulty. What she saw was an extremely luxurious men's bedroom. She had been here before and knew it was Arthur's bedroom.
"Mr. Bridgewater, please help me out." She struggled to get up and wanted to get out.
"Don't move. You have menstrual cramps. Just lie down until the medicine pack comes." Arthur pressed her down.
At this time, the servant came in with a bowl of hot brown sugar and ginger soup.
"Your dysmenorrhea is of the cold coagulation and blood stasis type. It would be better to drink some ginger soup." Arthur helped Sylvia up, leaned her back against the bed screen, took the ginger soup from the nanny and handed it to her and said, "Drink it while it's hot."
Sylvia looked at the hot ginger syrup and reached out to pick it up, but felt that the whole of her arms are weak.
Arthur sat down, hugged Sylvia and put it on his chest, while he picked up the spoon in the bowl and started feeding her.
