Sylvia was startled when she heard Arthur's voice. She immediately looked at what she thought as the wall. When she saw it, she was dumbfounded.
It turned out that in her panic, she actually hugged Arthur. In order to prevent her feet from being caught by the centipede, out of instinct, her legs flew into the air and wrapped around the man's tight waist.
This posture is simply too warm and ambiguous.
She was so frightened that she let go of her hands and fell down.
Just when she was about to fall to the ground, a strong hand caught her.
She stood up and raised her eyes to meet the man's unpredictable eyes.
Sylvia was stunned.
The man raised his head slightly, and his eyes were like a deep pool with no bottom. Once, in this deep pool, she went back and forth many times without being able to get out. She fell deeper and deeper into the pool, causing unbearable pain.
Arthur looked at her panicked face, with a rare softness in his dark eyes.
"Ah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Sylvia pushed him away and apologized repeatedly, "I didn't mean to do it."
“You just want to flirt." Arthur sneered, "I'm afraid if you stay here, this is not a good place to work."
The windows of the corridor balcony are not sealed, and some unknown insects will fly in from time to time.
"This time it's a centipede, next time it might be a snake." He threatened fiercely.
Sylvia was so frightened that she quickly lowered her head, put away the computer, and left in a hurry as if running away.
Arthur looked at her back, raised the corners of his lips and walked towards the children's bedroom.
He first came to Hendrick's bedroom.
When opening the door.
He saw Chris, Hendrick and Jennifer. The three little guys are crowded together on the same bed. Jennifer is sleeping on Chris's arm, and her hands are around Chris's neck. Hendrick, who never liked being touched, allowed Jennifer’s one foot to rest on his body.
When she took off her clothes, she remembered that her pajamas were not here, so she had to call Lauren in the bathroom and ask her to bring them up.
When she heard the noise, she thought it was Lauren coming up.
Arthur stood, the sound of rushing water stimulating his nerves.
Inexplicably, the madness of that night six years ago flashed through his mind. Her youthfulness and tightness made his blood boil. A wave of heat ran through his heart. His throat went dry for a while. He walked in unexpectedly.
Sylvia’s hearing is blocked by the running water. She didn't even know that Arthur is coming. After hearing the sound of footsteps, she opened the glass door and stretched out her arm. A smooth water-dropped arm is stretched out. "Lauren, please give me the pajamas."
Arthur's eyes fell on this hand. There were obvious scars on the wrist, which were caused by her suicide a few days ago.
He suddenly felt pity and reached out to hold her hand, stroking the scar with his fingertips.
Sylvia suddenly felt something was wrong.
Not only did her outstretched hand not get the pajamas, but it was held by a big hand. That hand is big and very hot.
