"What is she doing up there now?" Arthur asked with a dark face and a sigh of relief all over.
Zander chuckled: "She's not here. Maybe she was frightened last night and was taking care of her child at home."
"So, you are very familiar with her family." Arthur asked coldly, "Where does she live now?"
The last time Lennard investigated, he learned that she had moved.
"No way, it's because I don't know where she lives that I came here early in the morning to see if her child was frightened last night." Zander immediately explained with a grimace.
"Hmph." Arthur snorted, "This kind of woman is not worth helping. I helped her rescue her son last night, and she didn't even say a word of thanks. She even instigated her son to tell the gangster that he was my son. It’s really excessive.”
Zander was stunned when he heard this. That little guy actually told the criminals last night that he was Arthur's son. This was very smart! At least he knew how to use Arthur’s name to protect himself, not bad!
"Cousin, the child said last night he was your son. He was just saying it casually. It's not that Sylvia instigated it. She must not have known that her son would be kidnapped." He chuckled.
Arthur rolled his eyes at him. Did he need to say this? He just didn't like Sylvia.
"By the way, cousin, what would you do if you really have a lovely son outside?" Zander suddenly smiled and asked in a seemingly informal manner.
Arthur gave him another look: "You have watched too many TV series! How can I still have a son outside?"
He turned around and walked towards his luxury car.
"Cousin, what if?" Zander caught up and asked.
"Why do you still need to ask? Of course, my son has to come back and I can raise him myself. How could a Bridgewater family's offspring be left outside?" Arthur glared at him. He could ask such an idiotic question. He really feels stupid when he’s around Sylvia.
Zander retracted his head and sighed secretly.
This is the news she was most afraid of hearing.
At first, she took Chris, Jennifer and Aunt Donna and waited for nearly three hours at the city’s airport. Because the weather was too hazy, the flight was delayed.
She thought it would be better after the sun came out.
Unfortunately, it was cloudy today. The sun only came out for a short while, and the haze did not dissipate. The assistant could only tell her that today's flight is cancelled.
They were accommodated in a hotel provided by the airport.
Sylvia had no choice but to take them to the hotel with a lot of worries in her mind.
"Miss, why don't we go to Belvedere instead? My parents have a house in the countryside of Belvedere. The air there is good and it's suitable for living. Let's go live there for a while to avoid the limelight." Aunt Donna suggested.
