"You guys go down first, I have something to tell her." Arthur ordered expressionlessly.
When Zander heard this, he immediately got out of the car with Hendrick in his arms.
That's okay. If Sylvia can take the initiative to tell him that the child is his, he will be more willing to do so. Hendrick won’t need to be holding a knife on his neck and forcing him to come over like now. He will also try his best to save Christopher.
Lennard also jumped out of the car.
Outside, five young and strong men dressed in black were gathering.
Soon only Arthur and Sylvia were left in the car.
"I'll ask you a few questions, and you answer them truthfully. Otherwise, you will only be responsible for your son's life and death." Arthur said coldly.
"Okay." Sylvia's voice was as low as a mosquito's cry.
"What's your son's name?"
"Christopher."
"Who is his father?" Arthur asked coldly.
It's not that he has a hard heart. A four or five-year-old child was kidnapped. As a responsible and righteous entrepreneur, it is normal for him to help. But for some reason, he just doesn't want to save Sylvia's son who was born to another man.
Sylvia's heart shrank and she looked at him with a guilty conscience.
"Hurry up." He frowned and said impatiently, "You should know that I am a businessman. No matter what I do, I have to weigh the effort and reward. I don't have to save other people's sons. The child's father is the most important. It’s his responsibility to save him.”
Sylvia's fingers tightly twisted the hem of her clothes and she bit her lip.
For some reason, after learning that the child was not Charles’s, he felt much better. He immediately opened the car door and gritted his teeth, "I came to save your son today for Hendrick's sake. Remember this."
He jumped out of the car.
Hendrick stood nervously in the darkness. As soon as Arthur got out of the car, Hendrick immediately ran over and threw himself into his arms. His face turned pale, and he tensed tightly tugging at his clothes. He murmured and begged. "Daddy, please save Christopher. You must save him."
Arthur felt very distressed when he saw his son in this state. He was worried that this tense environment would trigger his old illness, so he hurriedly held him in his arms and said softly, "Don't worry, Daddy has already called the police. The more help to come, the better. If more people come, Christopher will be rescued."
"Thank you, Daddy." Hendrick rarely thanked him.
Arthur lamented in his heart that his son was raised in vain and turned to outsiders.
But no matter what, he was his precious son, and he still felt sorry for him.
