Leaving the Wrong Love Behind Forever novel Chapter 204

Golden Ancestry Cemetery.

Sylvia knelt in front of her mother's tombstone, tears streaming down her face.

"Mom, I'm sorry. I can only take Christopher and Jennifer to leave the city. Your revenge will be temporarily suspended. Don't worry, I will definitely avenge you. But there is nothing I can do now. Those bad guys want to harm Christopher. I have to protect the child." She touched the tombstone with her fingers, feeling heartbroken.

Even if she exhausted all her strength and regained everything, she was still outnumbered and had to bow to reality.

Lily, that shameless woman, went directly to the company to threaten her with Christopher and ask for her mother's dowry. Fiona's daughter was even more eager to use Christopher to her advantage against her. She’s is sure that bad things will happen again and again if they will not leave the city.

These vicious women would not let her and the child go.

For the safety of her children, she could only leave the city temporarily and find a chance to come back to avenge her mother.

She thought her mother would definitely understand her.

Streamer Cafe.

Charles was sitting by the window, looking at his phone while drinking coffee leisurely.

After a while, a gorgeously dressed woman walked in carrying an expensive bag.

"Mr. Jacobs, you are getting more and more handsome." Sheryl sat down next to him, winked at him, raised her lips and smiled, trying to please him.

Charles frowned, a hint of disgust flashed between his brows, and asked, "Miss Lancelot, why did you ask me out?"

Sheryl smiled slightly, "Mr. Jacobs, let me ask you, do you want to marry my sister?"

"Whether I want to marry your sister or not, that has nothing to do with you. Is this just why you asked me out today?" Charles said coldly.

Charles paused in his steps

He turned around and asked, "What are you talking about?"

"I said, the person my sister loves most is you. Believe me, she has always loved you deeply. It's just that she has something on her mind and doesn't want to express her love to you." Sheryl replied hurriedly.

There was disbelief in Charles's eyes, "Sheryl, you must have proof when you speak. Don't talk nonsense here."

"I'm not lying." Sheryl smiled and took out a diary from her bag, "This is the diary my sister wrote in those years. Diaries are the expression of a person's truest feelings. Take it. Look, you will know if I lied to you."

Charles's eyes lit up. He reached out to take the diary and flipped through it casually, with a flash of joy on his face. He carefully put the diary into his briefcase and said, "Okay, then I'll go back and take a look. If it's really what you said, I will return the favor to you in the future.”

He turned and strode away.

Sheryl's fingertips were wrapped around the hair on her chest. A strange smile appeared on the corner of her lips.
