Arthur had a straight face and a bad mood.
After Sylvia got into the car, he didn't say a word. Before she could sit firmly, he started the car in retaliation, causing Sylvia to almost fall on the car.
Sylvia pursed her lips and looked at him coldly.
‘It's really strange, why is this man angry?
Was it because I refused to have breakfast with him this morning? But isn't this exactly what he wants? He shouldn't be too happy. Why does he look like this?’
However, she wouldn't care. This man has always been moody.
"Daddy, Auntie." As soon as the car arrived at the kindergarten, Sylvia saw the little guy standing at the gate of the campus with his schoolbag on his back and looking forward to them. Hendrick soon saw his father's luxury car and immediately waving in his direction and shouting loudly.
A friendly smile appeared on Sylvia’s face. Her heart felt warm.
Even before the car stopped, she opened the door and ran out, opened her arms, and hugged Hendrick.
The mother and son smiled happily, kissed each other, and walked hand in hand towards Arthur's luxury car.
Arthur sat in the driver's seat and looked at them coldly.
Sylvia had a bright smile on her face, a smile that came from the bottom of her heart. She smiled while bending down to listen to the child's words.
And Hendrick was gesticulating with his little hands while smiling innocently and chirping.
The two of them whispered to each other from time to time, not knowing what they were talking about.
Although Arthur was disdainful of Sylvia, he was still shocked seeing her interaction with his lively son.
Hendrick really changed, completely like a different person.
In the past, he was aloof and cold. He didn't like to talk. He was cold to everyone, and sometimes got sick.
But now, although he can be cold, he is very warm-hearted when talking and laughing with Sylvia. Even the servants at home praise Hendrick for being much more courteous.
He could no longer see any symptoms of depression in his child. He is just a cheerful and optimistic child.
Such a positive change in Hendrick was something he had never dared to dream about before.
"Mr. Bridgewater."
"Lennard, please check Sylvia's living conditions in the past six years. The more detailed the better."
"Okay, got it."
…
Sylvia got off the bus, and then hailed a parked passenger motorcycle on the side of the road.
Ten minutes later.
The motorcyclist drove her to a stop under a half-new apartment building.
Sylvia jumped out of the motorcycle and reached into her bag to take out her keys and look for the access card.
"Sylvia." Suddenly, a man's voice came from behind.
Sylvia's hands shook in fright. The key fell to the ground. Her face changed color.
