7 p.m.
Sylvia arrived at the Bridgewater's Castle on time.
Today is Hendrick's first day out of the hospital. In order to congratulate him, she bought a handful of flowers on the way there.
The lights in the castle were bright and many servants were busy.
As soon as Sylvia entered, she looked for Hendrick.
She is not interested in anything there. She just wants to spend every precious minute and every second with her child.
If the child is fine, she is fine!
When she went upstairs, Sheryl stopped in front of her and spoke proudly, "Sister, tomorrow is my birthday. Arthur is going to hold a party for me. Since you are here, I am inviting you to attend."
Sylvia pulled down the corners of her lips and said indifferently, "I'm sorry, I have to go to work. My job is just to take care of Hendrick."
Would this woman kindly invite her to her birthday party? Of course, Sylvia would try every means to humiliate her so that she would not fall into Sheryl’s trap.
At this time, Sheryl's eyes fell on the flowers in her hand. She frowned in disgust, "What are you doing with such inferior flowers? Throw them away quickly."
"No, today is the first day Hendrick was discharged from the hospital. I bought this for him as a good idea." Sylvia ignored her and continued walking towards Hendrick's bedroom with the flowers.
Sheryl became angry from shame and rushed over to snatch the flowers from her hand.
Sylvia had expected that she would have such a hand, and alertly raised the flower above her head.
Sheryl didn't catch it and pushed her back hard.
Sylvia was pushed to the ground, but she still held the flowers tightly in her hands.
"Mom...Auntie."
Back in the bedroom, Sylvia was going to take Hendrick to take a bath and then play some parent-child games with him, but she didn't expect Hendrick to say this. "Mommy, I'm hungry."
"Didn't you have dinner?" She asked in surprise.
"No, look, it's my tongue." Hendrick shook his head pitifully and made a pained expression after sticking out his tongue.
Sylvia's heart sank. Looking carefully, his little tongue was indeed a little red.
"What's wrong?" She asked anxiously.
"Spicy, so spicy, my tongue hurts." Hendrick sucked his tongue, his voice slurred.
Sylvia immediately called the butler. After asking, she found out that today was Wendy's fasting day. She had gone to church and had not returned yet. Arthur had delayed work because of Hendrick's illness and was working overtime in the evening. Sheryl ordered the kitchen to do all the cooking. The dishes she likes to eat are all spicy.
Hendrick was forced to eat a few mouthfuls. It was so spicy that he shed tears and had no choice but to go upstairs without eating.
