Sylvia looked down and saw that the call was from Aunt Donna. Her heart skipped a beat inexplicably.
As soon as the call was connected, Donna's anxious voice came from the other side. "Miss, it's not good, Chris and Jennifer are not home yet."
Sylvia's heart sank rapidly.
Sylvia first locked the bathroom door, lowered her voice and asked as calmly as possible. "Aunt Donna, shouldn’t they be already home from school?"
"Miss, Chris and Jen called me when school was over and said they were going to play at a classmate's house. I told them not to play too late, and they agreed. Later, after I cooked the meal, I called Chris, he said that the classmate’s mother kept them for dinner, and asked the classmate’s mother to tell me, so I had to agree and told them to go home on time at eight o’clock. At eight o’clock, I called Chris again and he said they’ll go home soon. I've been waiting at home, but it's almost nine o'clock now, and they haven't come back yet. I just called Chris's phone and the phone over there has been turned off." Donna cried as she spoke.
"Miss, I'm sorry. I'm so stupid. I shouldn't have allowed them to go to a classmate's house to play."
Sylvia thought for a while and asked. "Aunt Donna, don't worry. Do you know the name of the classmate's house they went to?"
"No, I don't know. I was calling Chris's number. I actually forgot to ask that classmate's mommy's name.
D*mn it, I was so careless." Donna was so anxious that she burst into tears.
Sylvia was extremely anxious after hearing this.
"Aunt Donna, don't cry. Chris and Jen are both sensible and smart children. They usually go home by themselves. Nothing will happen. I'll call the teacher first and I'll be back soon." She comforted Donna then hung up the phone. She ran out in a hurry.
But as soon as she opened the door.
There she saw Arthur leaning against the door frame, looking at her coldly.
"Mr. Bridgewater, it's time for me to go home." She said hurriedly and walked past him outside.
But as soon as she took a step, her arm was grabbed by Arthur.
She was pulled back several steps. Her back was pressed against the door panel.
How hateful!
After school today, he accidentally turned on his smartphone and saw that the trending searches were full of indecent photos of their Mommy. The articles wrote about their mother in a very disgusting way. If this continued, their Mommy would be searched for human flesh.
Someone must have deliberately framed Mommy!
Thinking of how their Mommy was beaten like that last night, he was so angry that he took Jennifer to an Internet cafe. In order to avoid worrying about Grandma Donna, he called her and said that he was going to a classmate's house to play.
After arriving at the Internet cafe, he was horrified to discover that this mommy's post was posted by a black website. He couldn't find the IP address at all.
He first used hackers to block all the bad information about their mom. Soon, the indecent photos of their mother and those words could no longer be found on the hot searches.
Then he breathed a sigh of relief and was about to take revenge.
