Larissa hung up and casually tossed her phone onto the desk. Lucius was finished. Before, he’d always had someone else to take the fall. But this time, starting with the Luminary Arts Centre, he would have to answer for every crime the Lincoln family had committed. There was no escaping a capital sentence. Jedidiah, their long-time protector, had erased so many of their sins in the past. But now, Larissa was going to uproot Jedidiah as well.
With that thought, she stood up, put her phone in her bag, and headed for her base of operations in Regal City. It was time for one last visit with Honora.
…
No heir? How dare Larissa say he'd have no heir!
Lucius roared with fury and kicked the table, sending it crashing across the room. He stormed out of Honora's apartment, barking at his men, "Find Honora now!"
Once in the car, he dialed Damon Tyson’s number. The phone rang and rang, unanswered.
How dare he not pick up? Damon must have a death wish.
Lucius drove straight to Gale Entertainment. When he couldn't find Damon, he threatened a secretary until she told him Damon was at home. He then headed directly to Damon's private residence.
When he rang the bell, a new butler answered. "Mr. Tyson is not here. Please leave, Mr. Lincoln."
Lucius signaled to one of his men, who brought forward a black bag filled with cash. The new butler's eyes lit up at the sight of the money.
"Want it?" Lucius said coldly. "Open the door, and it's all yours."
