Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 869

“Mom, I’m home,” Larissa called out as she entered the villa.

Sapphira rushed out, her eyes filled with tears of joy. “You’re back! Your father was just released from the station. He got home a few minutes ago and is taking a shower.”

“That’s wonderful,” Larissa smiled.

Only then did Sapphira notice Haskell, whom Larissa was pushing into the house.

Haskell offered a small smile. “Sorry to impose, but I’ll be staying here again tonight.”

“Oh, it’s no trouble at all. This is your home too, from now on. You can come and stay whenever you like,” Sapphira said cheerfully. “Have you eaten dinner… oh, wait, I watched the livestream. You had fondue. Was it enough? Wren is cooking, you can have some more if you’re still hungry.”

“I’m full, Mom,” Larissa said.

“I’ve eaten as well. Sapphira, you and Neville go ahead,” Haskell added with a smile.

“Alright, then. You two have had a long couple of days. Go get some rest,” Sapphira said, knowing the young couple would want some time alone.

“Okay. As long as Dad is okay, that’s all that matters. We’ll head up to the room then,” Larissa replied.

Haskell didn’t go to the guest room next door but accompanied Larissa to her room.

The three small snakes immediately slithered out, winding around Larissa’s legs. She picked up a container of freeze-dried treats. “I’m going to take a shower. You can play with them for a bit.”

Haskell took the container and nodded. “Okay.”

After Larissa went into the bathroom, Haskell began to tease the three snakes with the treats. At first, Sage ignored him completely. Shadow, however, was very enthusiastic and happily devoured several treats. Finally, Sage couldn't resist any longer and reluctantly slithered over, its small eyes darting toward the treats in Haskell’s hand.
