Larissa took Tawny to a safe house, where Plum, one of her organization's members helping out at Starlight Media, was staying.

"Plum, protect her," Larissa instructed.

Plum snapped a salute. "You can count on me, Chief!"

Turning to Tawny, Larissa said, "The place is a bit simple, but it's safe. We can have someone retrieve your things tomorrow."

Tawny looked around the cozy little apartment. It was nothing like the luxurious villa Jedidiah had provided, but it was warm and welcoming.

"It's fine. I grew up in far worse conditions. As for my old things… just throw them all out. I have some money saved. I'll buy new things tomorrow."

"Alright."

After Larissa left, Plum turned to Tawny. "This apartment has two small bedrooms. Do you want your own room, or do you want to sleep with me?"

Before Tawny could answer, she added, "You should stay with me. My bed is huge. It's more than big enough for both of us."

Tawny felt a bit dazed. "Either is fine."

Her agent had been calling her non-stop. After settling in, Tawny finally answered.

"Tawny, where have you been?!" her agent yelled. "Do you have any idea who you are? Get back here right now! Where are you? I'll come pick you up…"

Before Tawny could reply, Plum snatched the phone. "She's in hell with the devil. Come on down!"

"Who… who is this?"

"I'm the Grim Reaper, and I'm waiting for you!" Plum chirped before hanging up.
