Lucius gave the courier’s package a casual glance.

“A delivery?” he asked nonchalantly. “Does it say who it's from?”

His voice was flat, betraying little interest in the parcel.

His assistant, standing nearby, shook his head. “There’s no sender listed. Should I open it?”

Normally, any package from an unknown source would be opened and inspected for safety before it ever reached Lucius.

But today was different. This was Royal Bowling Alley, after all, and anyone who knew Lucius was here today was likely an associate of the Lincoln family. That's why the assistant hesitated to open it on the spot.

Lucius had clearly reached the same conclusion. “Just leave it,” he said with a wave of his hand. “I’ll get to it later.”

His attention remained fixed on the screen in front of him, far more concerned with the spectacle about to unfold on the livestream. He could already picture the moment of the explosion—the shock, the chaos. Everyone would be utterly stunned.

“Yes, sir,” the assistant acknowledged, stepping forward to place the package on the table.

Meanwhile, Larissa was parading a crawling Milton on a leash for her livestream when her phone suddenly buzzed.

It was Nightveil. Larissa answered, and Nightveil's cool voice came through the line. "Boss, there’s an explosion at Lucius's location."

Larissa glanced down at the leash around Milton’s neck and a smirk played on her lips. “Excellent.”

It seemed everything was going exactly as planned.

After hanging up, she started humming a little tune as she continued to walk Milton down the street.

Avril, trailing behind them, played the part of a carnival barker for the stream. “Roll up, roll up, don’t miss the show! Come see a man on a leash! You won’t see this again, folks!”
