Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 777

Larissa replied: [Give me the bell, and I’ll make sure you survive. But you’re still getting walked on a leash.]

At this point, Milton’s dignity was the last thing on his mind. He gritted his teeth and typed: [How do I get it to you?]

[Someone will come for it in the morning.]

[Okay.]

Larissa immediately contacted Nightveil. “Send someone to Milton’s place tomorrow morning to pick something up. It’s a bomb. I need your team to create an identical replica, and then have the real one delivered by courier to Lucius. Make sure it arrives while my livestream is running.”

“Understood.”

It seemed one lesson wasn’t enough for Lucius. He was determined to make the same mistake twice.

The next day, while the sky was still a hazy gray, Milton, who hadn’t slept a wink, noticed a shadow flit past his window.

“Tap. Tap.”

He got out of bed and saw a woman dressed in black outside his window. “Are you from Larissa?” he asked warily.

“Cut the crap and give me the device,” the woman said in a low voice.

“Okay, one second.”

Milton carefully retrieved the bell from his TV stand, terrified it might go off in his hands.

The woman took it, shot him a look of disdain, and muttered, “Pathetic.” She then tossed him an identical bell and vanished.

Milton fumbled to catch it, his face flushing with anger, but he didn't dare yell after her. He just watched as she expertly scaled the wall and disappeared.

Whatever. As long as he survived. Once this whole dog-walking ordeal was over, he was leaving the country and never coming back.

Larissa got up and sent a message to Avril. [Time for the dog-walking livestream!]
