"Good," Larissa instructed. "Leak the videos tomorrow when the time is right."
"Understood."
After the call, Larissa used her computer to access a private network and find the unredacted photos of Theon's accident scene. In every picture, his body was a mangled mess.
"Turns out his skull wasn't so tough after all," she sneered.
Next, she checked the trending topics on Twitter. The story had a new update.
[HOLY CRAP! This is instant karma! Theon, the son of Gale Entertainment's chairman, gets exposed for a hit-and-run from two years ago, and then dies in a car crash today!]
[For real? He’s dead? And he was hit by a car?]
[It's true. A friend of mine was on Sunny Road heading to the airport and saw the whole thing. It was gruesome. Theon's head was crushed, brains everywhere!]
[As gruesome as it is, all I can say is, he deserved it. Don't forget, after he killed that family, he joked with his friends that the baby's skull wasn't hard enough.]
[Looks like his own skull was just as fragile!]
[But seriously, isn't this a little too coincidental? It feels like a targeted killing.]
[It was. The driver already confessed. Said she did it to get revenge for a friend.]
[Well then. I guess that's what you call karma.]
Larissa closed the browser and leaned back in her chair, closing her eyes. She hoped that somewhere, the family of three could finally rest in peace.
