Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 656

It was obvious. Someone had smashed a bottle over Theon’s head.

A collective gasp went through the room, but no one dared to make a sound. In the suffocating darkness, they were all helpless against Larissa. Any sudden move could put them in danger. Even Lucius remained silent.

"Alright, Theon, I'll let you keep your life for now," Larissa said, standing up. Despite the pitch-black room, she moved with unerring accuracy toward the door.

As she stepped into the hallway, a soft light flickered to life.

Fireflies.

They gathered together, forming a guiding beacon that allowed her to navigate the darkened corridor with ease.

From behind her, Lucius yelled, "Stop her!"

But no one could respond. Larissa just let out a dismissive laugh.

"Lucius, you should worry about your own situation before you try to stop me. You have a club full of angry guests to deal with."

Her footsteps faded into the distance.

Downstairs, in the main hall, chaos was erupting.

"Where's Mr. Lincoln? What the hell is going on tonight? Why hasn't anyone come to explain?"

"Yeah! How can the power just go out? Is this some kind of special event?"

"We deserve an explanation for this!"

The agitated crowd fell silent as a moving source of light approached from the upper levels. They all turned to look.

"What is that? It's glowing!"

"I think I read about those in a book once…"

"That's it! Fireflies! They're called fireflies!"

"I can't believe they're real! I've never seen one in my life!"
