Larissa typed back to Prodigal Prince: [Oh, birds of a feather flock together. It’s a perfect match. I never trusted Finley’s taste in directors anyway. Glad to see your master, Mr. Lincoln, is taking out my trash for me.]
Prodigal Prince: [Are you calling Benedict trash?]
Larissa: [And I’m calling you a dog.]
Prodigal Prince: [Keep running your mouth, Larissa! I’ll just consider it practice for when you’re licking my boots in two months. I’ll be sure to pick out my dirtiest pair just for you.]
Larissa: [A dog’s gotta bark. When you lose our bet, I guess I’ll have to get you two leashes to keep you in line.]
Milton went silent. But Avril popped up.
Avril's Joy: [Hahaha, Larissa, your comebacks are always so vicious! I love it!]
Most of the group members were just silent spectators now. With Haskell on one side and Lucius on the other, none of the smaller players dared to take a side in the titans’ clash.
A moment later, a private message from Avril came through.
[Larissa, sorry for the radio silence, been super busy the last couple days. Just wanted to give you an update on Torrin Dillon.]
[He told me he’s going to work hard to become a better man for you. He begged his sister to let him work at their family company.]
[But it looks like Ms. Dillon wasn’t having it. She gave him a million dollars and told him to start his own business. If he succeeds, great. If he blows it all, he can come back home and live as a kept man. Pretty obvious she doesn’t want to share power with her brother!]
[Even Torrin is starting a business! It’s inspired me. I’m thinking of opening an anime merch shop right next to my parents’ private school! What do you think?]
Larissa replied: [That’s a great idea. You’ll have a built-in customer base. I had no idea you were into that stuff.]
