Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 478

If his sister hadn’t been so capable, Honora’s plan would have succeeded. He, Finley, and his parents would have remained completely blind to the truth, never knowing the darkness their real sister had faced alone.

Then came the second-to-last post: [My parents are so worried about my engagement party~ Being their daughter is the best feeling in the world~]

He had seen them all. Just a handful of posts, but it wasn't nearly enough. He wished, with a desperate ache in his chest, that he could have been a part of her life, one of the people in those photos who brought her happiness.

Feeling a profound sense of loss, Leopold opened his own feed and posted a simple, cryptic message: [For the rest of my life, I only wish you happiness.]

“Leopold, what are you doing?” Vivica asked, noticing that her son had stopped eating and was staring intently at his phone.

“I was looking at my sister’s posts on Facebook,” he said, putting his phone down.

The mention of Larissa changed the atmosphere at the table. Paxton remained silent, but Vivica spoke up.

“You know, your father, Finley, and I don’t have her on Facebook. The fact that she added you must mean she’s willing to reconcile with us.”

Leopold looked up, a flicker of hope in his eyes. “You think so? That’s why she accepted my request?”

“Of course,” Vivica said confidently. “With your sister’s personality, if she wanted nothing to do with you, she would have ignored it. This is a good sign, Leopold. Keep at it. In a few months, maybe a year at most, she’ll forgive you. She’ll forgive all of us.”

A sliver of confidence returned to Leopold. Maybe his mother was right. Maybe Larissa was just tough on the outside. This was her way of opening the door.
