Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 289

Haskell remained unperturbed, a faint smile playing on his lips. “With Larissa treating me, I won’t be needing those wheelchairs you planned to send. But you should probably keep them for yourself. With your intelligence and your talent for finding trouble, you might just get your legs broken one day. They’ll come in handy.”

Garrick scowled. “Haskell, I’m trying to be nice, and you’re cursing me?”

“It’s not a curse, it’s a friendly warning,” Larissa interjected, her tone laced with sarcasm. “You’d be wise to watch your mouth and your temper from now on. Otherwise, you might end up just like Valeria and Draven.

Besides, Haskell doesn’t need your sympathy. You should worry about yourselves. After all, as members of the Palmer family, you aren’t even allowed to live in the manor. You have a long drive home tonight. It would be a tragedy if you got into a car accident and your whole family was wiped out at once.”

Garrick’s face turned crimson, a vein throbbing in his forehead. “You—how dare you say something so vicious! Cursing my entire family to die! You’re like a venomous snake!”

Larissa crossed her arms, a smirk playing on her lips. “Oh, I’m not just vicious with my words. My heart is as black as a scorpion’s sting. Care to find out?”

Provoked, Garrick puffed out his chest. “Hilarious! Why would I be afraid of you? I’d love to see what you’ve got!”

He took a step forward, ready to teach her a lesson.

“That’s enough!” Trevor snapped, his brow furrowed. “Stop this pointless squabbling!”

Larissa smiled sweetly. “Oh, it’s no problem. Let your precious son prove how tough he is. I don’t mind. With his level of skill, he’s no match for me anyway.”

She shot a deliberately provocative glance at Garrick.

Haskell chuckled beside her.

Garrick clenched his jaw, glaring at Larissa. “You shameless brat! It’s not that I’m afraid of you! A real man just doesn’t fight with women!”
