As Paxton’s bodyguards moved to block her, they suddenly began to twitch violently, foam spilling from their mouths before they collapsed.
Vivica’s eyes widened in terror. “Paxton, that’s it! That’s what the little monster did to me this morning!”
Paxton saw it then—a flash of silver as Larissa flicked several needles from her fingertips.
Larissa shot a glacial look at Vivica. “You knew I wasn’t to be trifled with, yet you still dared to come to my home, cause a scene, and injure Wren. You two really must have a death wish. Fine, I’ll grant it for you.”
Paxton’s face turned ashen. It was clear his daughter was about to turn on him.
Suddenly, a powerful voice boomed from across the lawn.
“Stop this at once! We are a family! Have things really gotten so bad that we’re trying to kill each other in our own home?”
It was the Judson family patriarch, Kiernan Judson.
Larissa’s hand, holding another needle, froze. She looked up.
