Irresistible Boss Succumbing to Your Touch (Maria Anita) novel Chapter 3

Calvin’s POV

After leaving the farm, I went to Sonia's girls' house, a brothel on the outskirts of town. The girls were good at their job, very good. And Sonia would help me with what I needed.

"Calvin! You're early today." Sonia laughed.

"Sonia, I need help with something."

"And what do I get out of it?"

"Name your price, I'll pay it. I know your help never comes free." She just smiled. "I need you to buy some women's things for me."

"Well, Calvin, what's this about? At this stage of life, a virile man like you changing preferences?" Sonia was a mocking prostitute.

"Are you questioning me, Sonia? It's for my fiancée."

"You're getting married?" Her eyes widened.

"Yes, I am." I was quite pleased. "But don't worry, I'll still be your customer."

"And why don't you have your fiancée do the shopping herself?"

"That's none of your business." She just shrugged. "You're going to buy a simple white dress for the wedding and some of those fancy undergarments you girls wear. Also bring three more dresses, and she'll buy the rest later. Here's the money, this should be enough." I placed the money on the table.

"Yes, it is. And what's her size?"

"About the same as that girl over there." I pointed to one of the house girls and called her over. "That's right, about the same size. While you go shopping, I'll have some fun with her."

When Sonia returned two hours later, I was ready to leave. I paid her for the shopping and for the services of the prostitute who kept me company, and left the brothel.

I went home, needing to speak with the notary, but I would call him to my house - I didn't want any busybodies listening to my business. When I arrived, I had a big surprise.

"Well, it took Orlando long enough to wake up! My boy, your mother is a lying tramp. I'm not your father." I couldn't stop laughing. I couldn't believe Rita was trying to pull this scam on me again. She knew I wasn't as stupid as Orlando.

"But she said..." I didn't let him finish.

"Kid, go back home and ask Chubby - that's your mother's nickname in case you didn't know - but ask her about the man who gave her that nickname, he's your father. But I'll tell you who he was, he was a good-for-nothing type, who spent his life losing money on bets and pulling small scams. Your mother was always crazy about him, but he never cared for her. After she lost weight, he would hook up with her occasionally, but it was just for fun or when he couldn't find anyone else willing to go to bed with him. Chubby wanted the good life, and your father couldn't provide that, so she latched onto that idiot Orlando, who always had money, but since he was married, she tried to scam me first, but failed. And she won't succeed now either. You're the spitting image of your father, kid, and you even have his bad habits. Now get out of my house because I have better things to do." Julian looked at me as if he was still processing what I had just said. "Come on, kid, get out!"

He ran out of my house, and surely Chubby would have to deal with endless complaints from her son. This was the last thing I needed - I already had one good-for-nothing to support, but that one was my son; I wasn't going to support someone else's deadbeat kid.

After Julian left, I called my henchman, as I needed to know how Manuela was doing. He told me again where she was, and I thought he had done well - no one would look for her where he had taken her. But he said she had woken up and was badly hurt, telling me he had bought medicine and bandages, and his wife was taking care of her. Oh, but if she ended up with even the tiniest mark, I would make Rita pay for it. I told him I would call later with instructions, but that I would reward him very well.

After speaking with my henchman, it was time to call the city notary and set up the wedding. It was getting late, and he would probably be at home, so I called. I wanted to get married very early, but he said he couldn't because he already had a commitment that couldn't be postponed, even for money. Besides, he would need to arrange the paperwork and make everything appear to have been done at the right time. So we scheduled it for two o'clock in the afternoon at the registry office. I would need to figure out how to get Manuela into the registry office without anyone seeing, but for that, I would count on Detective Roger, that puppet.

I called Roger and told him to handle it, saying I didn't want anyone near the registry office during my wedding, and he assured me I could relax because he would plant false evidence to mislead those clowns who were looking for Manuela. That made me feel quite at ease. Now it was just a matter of waiting for the right time. I would wait until morning to talk to Rita, as I knew right now she must be having a little chat with that worthless son of hers. But I would have loved to be a fly on the wall to see that!
