On the call with Terry, she heard a car roaring its engine, and then the phone dropping down on the floor. When she called out Terry again, he never answered.

It was just her assumption, and she had no idea of it. She didn’t want her sister to get into a panic, so she just ran wildly without saying anything.

Lara asked softly, holding tightly Baron’s neck, for she felt a little scared.

Baron shook his head and said soothingly, “Don’t worry, baby, dad’s here with you!”

Later, he took out his phone and made a call, “Check what happened just now in front of River Construction Materials and update it to me as soon as possible!”

Baron hanged up the call, took Lara, and left the room for River Construction Materials.

When he was in the parking lot, Kris called in, “Terry was hit by a car violently. Not know whether he is alive or not. The ambulance is already on the way!”

“Dead? How?”
