“Dad, sit tight!”

Terry was interrupted by Baron, who looked tense.

“Bang!”

A big smash sounded.

A black Volkswagen hit on a red Ferrari.

At the same time, Baron sped up fast towards the black Volkswagen.

“Baron, brake!”

The black Volkswagen rolled out for meters and stopped with wheels upwards.

After a short-frightened pause, Terry unfastened the seatbelt quickly, and said to Baron with emotion, “Baron, be quick, let me sit on the driver seat!”

He was ready to crawl over to Baron while he was talking.

His move made Baron feel warm. Terry was trying to protect Baron from accusation.

Baron didn’t worry about it, he said smilingly, “Dad, don’t worry, I am gonna be fine!”

“I am serious! Get your ass off now. I will be the driver who takes all the responsibilities, and you have nothing to do with this car accident!”

Terry was so nervous and scared, but he still put Baron in the first place and wanted to protect him.

Baron then understood that Terry had changed and already treated him as the son-in-law, or his own son.

Baron was equally important as Tracy and Yuri to Terry.

If Baron didn’t crash into it, the black car might get Susan killed.

“Thank you for saving my life again!”

Susan said gratefully.

“Who are you messing with? Why do they keep trying to murder you?”

Baron asked in a curious tone.

It was the second time Susan got assassinated after Baron knew her. Both of the two assassination was man-made car accidents.

Susan was lucky, for Baron had saved her.

Susan shook her head, and said with coldness, “I don’t know exactly who hire them to kill? I guess it was from some noble family in Cona or in Kato. It must be some families that don’t want the Lewis family to ally with the Maguire family through marriage. So, they kept trying to kill me or Paris Maguire. When one of us dies, the alliance will be ended.”

At this moment, two strong men with a black suit and blood all over on their face, came out form the black Volkswagen.

Susan hid behind Baron subconsciously. She said with her teeth gritting, “They are trying to murder me!”

Of course, she knew herself was in a hunt-down.

Baron said peacefully.

“Young lad, did you just crash our car?”

One of the two big men said. They goggled at Baron.

Baron offered a favor.

“This car? Does it still work?” said Susan with confusion, pointing at Baron’s Phaeton.

Baron answered with a smile, and jumped into the car.

Susan was about to get in the front seat, but saw Terry was there, and she greeted, “Mr. Perry, I don’t know you were here with Terry, you doing good?”

After the greeting, she got in and sat at the backseat.

Baron dropped Terry at a hotel, and then sent Susan to a company.

To Baron’s surprise, the company was Hardon International.

Hardon Maguire, the man he saw at Zouch Courtyard, was the founder of Hardon International.

Hardon Maguire was a member of the Maguire family.

So, Hardon Maguire must be Paris Maguire’s young brother.

“Susan, how is everything?”

A happy voice sounded as Susan got out of the car.

The man greeting to Susan was Paris Maguire, who was engaged with Susan when they were young.

The beaming on his face disappeared when he saw Baron.

“Susan, why is he with you?”

Paris asked with indifference.

Susan answered in a cool tone, “I can be with anyone I want to, it’s none of your business.”

Paris sneered and kept his mouth shut. He gazed at Baron, and said, “Young man, you really got nerd, how dare you come to my place? Don’t you remember last time you set our Maguire family up, and we were rejected by McGill Auctions?”

Baron darted a cool look at him, and turned to Susan, “I got to go, if you need me, call me!”

Susan asked instantly, “Are you available tonight? How about we have a diner? My treat!”

The wedding would be held tomorrow, Baron got nothing important to do tonight, so he accepted her invitation, “Okay, see you tonight!”

Paris got really upset by being ignored by Baron. His face got reddened. He went and blocked Baron’s way. He said furiously, “Baron, what the fuck are you doing? Aren’t you just asking my fiancée out in front of me? You really got nerd!”

“Get the hell out of my way!”

Baron snapped, starting the engine.

“Come on, step on the fucking gas and hit me, you mother fucker!”

Paris was ashamed into anger.

“Slamming!”

Wheels of Baron’s car started shrieking as he stepped hard on the gas.
