Inexperienced novel Chapter 4

Nervously I make my way to the bedroom, two minutes left. I know that if I don't appear on time then I'll get another punishment. I shiver at the thought. Once I enter the room his eyes immediately land on me, I look down my cheeks ablaze. Why does he have to have such a intimidating stare.

"Go to the bathroom to shower," he orders pointing to the direction of the bathroom. "I will be joining you in a couple of minutes." I go to say something but get interrupted by the ring of a cellphone. He pulls a cell out of the pocket of his jeans and immediately answers, he waves a dismissive hand at me and exits through the door. Without thinking I grab my bag and race into the bathroom. I close the door behind me, locking it. I turn the shower on so he gets the illusion that I'm showering. I then look around for an escape. After all escape is always an option. A smile captures my lips as I see a window, I need to climb up on the toilet in order to reach it, but hey! It's a way out. I frown when I see that there's a pool below and that this is a pretty high jump. But if I want to escape then there is no other way. I throw my bag down and smile when it reaches the grass.

"Now time for me to go," I nervously convince myself. Suddenly the door nob jiggles, causing me to whip around and look at the door.

"Why is the door locked?" He asks on the other side and I freak out. "Pet? PET!!!! OPEN THE DOOR NOW!" He yells. The door then begins to move as I hear loud bangs, due to the force of him slamming against it.

"I'll take that as my cue to go!" I say frightfully as I hear the door begin to splinter. I climb though the window and close it, I look down from the ledge. Taking a deep breath I close my eyes and jump. I land in the pool and cheer, that is until I hear the door from the bathroom burst open. Without hesitation I swim tp the other side, grab my bag and run. I can hear his voice shouting in the distance but I don't care, I need to get as far away from him as possible. I reach the front of the gate and let out a huff when I see that I have to climb in order to get through.

"Alright well, this is now or never," I proceed to climb the gate and let out a cheer of gratitude when I reach the top. "Oh yeah, oh yeah, I'm the greatest!" I sing as I do a little dance. I stop when my ears pick up tires heading in my direction.

"Oh crackers!!! Got to blast!" I jump off and run, faster than I ever ran before. I only have a couple of seconds before the cars catch up and spot me. I run and hide in the shadow of a abandoned house. I wait and watch as all cars zoom by. I wait a few more minutes just in case. Once the coast was clear, I took off. I kept to the shadows running and hiding. I was exhausted by the time I reached the nearest high school. Without hesitation I headed towards it, looking back every now and then. I walk around the building looking for an opening and let out a sigh of relief when I see an open window.

"What is up with windows today?" I murmur glad that it wasn't high and only on the first floor. I crawl through and land on the floor, soaking clothes and all. Slowly I get up and look for somewhere to spend the night. After searching around, I find the nurses office and am happy when I see that they left it unlocked.

"Man, these people really know how to lock up," I say to myself as I enter. A sigh escapes my lips as they land on the beds and washing machine. I quickly go to wash my soaking clothes, not wanting them to smell like chlorine the next morning. I look around for some food, and eat some goldfish and crackers. Full and content I go to one of the beds and lay down, waiting to put my clothes in the dryer. Once that time comes, I put them in the dryer and go back to laying on the bed. As I relax I then realize how exhausted I am. Today was a pretty crazy day, but ended greatly.

"Dear you don't need to apologize it's hard to find such kind souls nowadays. Now be safe and enjoy the rest of your day," she says and I smile.

"Again thank you so much."

"Again it was my pleasure," and with that she leaves. In a good mood but also aware of my appearance, I put my hood up and decide to head to my favorite place, the lake in the nearby park. I go and relax by the lake, a smile on my face, as I listen to the gentle lap of the water and the nearby pedestrians. A couple of minutes later a shadow comes over me.

"I found you at last," a familiar voice says. I look up and see that it's Samuel, the man who dragged me back to the club yesterday
