Chapter 286 I'm Hungrier
Harper exclaimed.
"It's me."
Benjamin's low, husky voice sounded slowly in her ear.
Harper sighed with relief at this, "How did you get back so fast?"
"I said I'd have dinner with you."
"You let go of me first." He was too close, making her uncomfortable, especially with his hands directly embracing her belly. The warmth of his palms against her skin was something she could clearly feel.
Harper was uncomfortable with such close quarters.
She struggled, but Benjamin said in a low voice, "Don't move. I just want to hold you. But if you keep moving around, I'm not sure."
It was an obvious threat.
Harper really regretted it now, thinking, "I'll never take my clothes off again even if I die of heat."
She stiffened, not daring to move. Benjamin whispered, "I'll be away on business for just two or three days. Behave yourself at home."
"Okay."
"Be on a video call with me every night."
"What?"
"How else am I going to tell the baby stories?" His hand gently covered her belly.
Harper frowned. "I know. Let go of me now."
"Are you afraid of me?"
"No."
"Then let me hold you longer."
Harper was a little confused and pressed her lips together. "Benjamin, I'm hungry. I want to eat now. I'm still pregnant, and I can't be hungry."
"I know." His voice was a little husky, and his arm hooked around her waist to turn her directly to face him. His desire for more was clear for her to feel. He whispered, "But I'm hungrier."
Harper froze, red-faced and speechless.
Benjamin's desire grew deeper and deeper, and then he pressed her right up against the window and started doing something else.
From the initial refusal to having to go along with him in the end, Harper really felt like she was going crazy.
She thought, "Benjamin is so annoying."
By the end, Harper was feeling really aggravated and bit him hard on the shoulder until she had no strength left.
Afterward, Benjamin carried her to take a shower and then left her to lie down and rest. He went outside and warmed up the meal, then brought it in for her.
Harper was too hungry. She finished her meal before glaring at him. Then, she lifted the covers and laid straight down, not wanting to look at him any longer.
