After hearing Yanis's words, Bonnie looked at her and asked, "What happened?"
Yanis briefly explained what had happened last night.
After listening to Yanis, Bonnie asked, "Is the person okay?"
"He's fine. Allan arrived just in time. If it had been a little later, who knows what would have happened," Yanis replied.
Bonnie nodded. "That's good."
After discussing Reed and Allan for a while, the conversation naturally shifted to Sandy.
Yanis turned to Sandy and asked, "Did your sister know you're back?"
"She knows. I went to her place. She was busy, so I came over. I thought both of you would be at the store, but when I arrived, Bonnie wasn't here either," Sandy explained.
Bonnie spoke up to defend herself, "I'm a special member now. It's normal for me to come a bit later."
Yanis glanced at Bonnie's face upon hearing her voice. "Didn't you go back to the Qin family?"
"I did. I had breakfast at home in the morning and then chatted with the Old Mr. Lawrence for a while before coming here," Bonnie said, reaching out to ruffle Sandy's hair. "When I arrived, our big star was sitting here all alone. I had to coax her for a while."
Sandy pouted, "Yeah, it was pitiful. No one paid attention to me sitting here all alone."
"Next time, call ahead before coming. Then you won't feel pitiful," Yanis said.
Sandy smiled and said, "Okay, next time I'll make an appointment in advance. Otherwise, I'll come here and not be able to see anyone."
Yanis nodded. "That's a good point. Make an appointment in advance next time you come."
Sandy replied, "Yanis, are you busy in the afternoon? I want to go to Linen Bay and see how the house renovation is going. The pictures my sister sent didn't give me a good sense of it. I want to experience it firsthand."
Yanis agreed, "We don't have much to do in the afternoon. Let's go together and take a look."
After Yanis finished speaking, she looked at Bonnie and asked, "Are you coming too?"
Bonnie looked at Yanis and said, "Boss Thompson, what do you mean? Can't I go?"
"Dr. Watson advised you to minimize movement," Yanis said.
Bonnie stood up and said, "I've been lying in the hospital for so many days. It's okay to move a little."
Yanis looked at Bonnie's pitiful appearance and reluctantly nodded. "Okay, just be more careful later."
Sandy chimed in, "Yanis, don't worry. I'll support her the whole time and won't let her out of my sight!"
"I promise too. I'll make sure our big star is supported throughout."
Yanis glanced at the two of them helplessly. "Let's go."
Although Sandy said she would support Bonnie, when they were about to leave, Sandy handed Bonnie over to Yanis. "Yanis, you support her. I'll support her later."
Yanis looked towards the door and noticed a group of people chatting there. She turned to Sandy and asked, "Should we wait a bit before going out?"
Sandy bent down, grabbed her bag and hat from the side, and said, "No need. Give me the car keys. I'll go ahead and get in the car. You and Bonnie can come over later."
Yanis agreed and handed the car keys to Sandy. "Take your time."
Sandy took the car keys and stepped out of the door, bypassing the group of people standing at the entrance, and went straight to the car.
A bunch of people stood together, unaware of what they were talking about, and naturally didn't notice Sandy brushing past them.
As Yanis and Bonnie walked towards the car, they heard someone in the crowd suddenly say, "Didn't I just see Sandy?"
"It's across the street! It's the residential area across from the land he's developing!" Yanis reiterated.
Bonnie nodded, "What's it called?"
Yanis thought for a moment, "It's not in the city center, and it's called... Springyard."
Sandy chimed in after hearing Yanis, "I know about it. One of my friends bought a house there. Although it's not in the city center, it's quite expensive!"
Yanis looked at Sandy, "Can it be more expensive than the city center?"
Sandy said, "You don't know about this? Although it's not in a prime location, the future development of Manches City will definitely be closer to that area. I heard they're going to build a large shopping mall there, and there will be schools from kindergarten to high school, as well as many areas for development. Buying a house there and waiting for its value to appreciate would make you the richest person in the world!"
Bonnie listened to Sandy's words and looked at her, "You actually care about this?"
Sandy smiled and said, "I had considered buying a house before, but I've been traveling around a lot lately, so I've lost interest. But when I was considering it before, I did a lot of research on the property prices and developments in Manches City, and Shangcheng International was my top choice."
"Has it been around for a long time?"
Sandy said, "Not for long, it's been less than a year since they completely handed over the houses. There are very few vacant units there now, and even if there are, they're in prime locations and definitely priced higher than other floors."
Upon hearing this, Bonnie turned to Yanis and asked, "Boss Thompson, do you think I can afford it?"
Yanis nodded, "I think it shouldn't be a problem."
Sandy also chimed in, "I think it shouldn't be a problem either."
Bonnie looked at the two of them and said, "Tell me, how big is it? And how much per square foot?"
Yanis looked at Sandy and gestured for her to give Bonnie some insights.
Sandy explained, "A little over 10, 000 dollars, but Bonnie, my boss is very wealthy. He can afford not just one, but even two units!"
