Zane glanced at the time and said, "I'll come back to pick her up later. Let me take you somewhere first."

Yanis turned to look at him and asked, "Do we have to walk?"

Zane didn't say anything but squatted down in front of Yanis. "You don't have to walk," he said.

Yanis looked at the person squatting in front of her and curved her lips, then she got up and climbed onto Zane's back.

The place Zane was taking Yanis to was right next to this night market. They crossed a road and then walked through a narrow alley about ten meters long to enter a completely different world.

The trees around were adorned with colorful lights, flashing neon lights. Not far away, there was a long and winding lake, with railings on both sides hanging different decorative lights, looking particularly spectacular.

"Zane, you can put me down now," Yanis reminded Zane softly.

Yanis didn't expose him. "I know. Ivan can be quite persistent. If you want, I can block him for you."

Zane looked at Yanis, who had a serious expression. "Forget it. I'll endure it for your sake. If he contacts me again, I'll block him."

Yanis nodded. "Okay, if he contacts you again, you block him."

After speaking, Yanis reached out and pulled Zane off the steps. "The atmosphere here is similar to the night view at Lovers' Bay before."

"This place also has a name," Zane walked by Yanis' side and said as they walked.

Yanis turned her head to look at him. "What's it called?"

"Lovers' Bay," Zane replied.

Yanis stood by the window, watching the downpour outside. "Phoebe probably won't be able to go back today."

"Flights are grounded," Zane replied and set up the breakfast that the customer service had just delivered. "Let's eat breakfast first."

Yanis turned around and walked to the table, looking at the neatly arranged breakfast. "There's so much! We won't be able to finish it all. Let's ask Phoebe to join us."

Zane glanced at the time on his hand and said, "I'll call her."

"Okay, let's eat together when she comes," Yanis agreed.

Just as Zane turned around to grab his phone and call Phoebe, Yanis' phone rang.

Seeing the caller ID, Yanis answered the call, "Bonnie?"

"It's me, Yanis," came a voice from the other end of the line, but it wasn't Bonnie's voice. It was Haider.
