I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 713

Chapter 713 You're Not Worthy of This Bracelet

Yanis interrupted the client before she could say anything else. "I understand what Bonnie is saying. It's not the bracelet that's the problem, it's just not a good fit for your wrist."

The client seemed to calm down a bit and nodded in agreement. Yanis quickly made some adjustments to the bracelet and handed it back to her.

"Is everything else okay?" Yanis asked, hoping they could finally wrap up this meeting.

The client looked over everything once more before nodding in satisfaction. "Yes, everything looks good now."

Yanis breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the client leave with Bonnie. He couldn't wait to get out of there himself.

As soon as they were gone, Yanis collapsed into his chair and rubbed his temples. "That was exhausting," he muttered under his breath.

Bonnie chuckled from behind him. "Welcome to my world," she said sympathetically.

Yanis turned around in his chair and smiled at her gratefully. "Thanks for having my back there."

Bonnie shrugged nonchalantly. "What are friends for? Besides, I know you would do the same for me if I was in your shoes."

Yanis nodded emphatically in agreement before standing up from his chair and stretching out his arms.

"I need a drink after that ordeal," he said with a grin on his face.

Bonnie laughed as she followed him out of the room.

"Do you even know what color coordination is? Do you know what the right size is? Do you even know how we view clients like you?" Bonnie didn't give the other person a chance to interrupt. "Someone like you, we'd rather not do business with. Your deposit, how much was it again? I'll refund it to you now and get out of my sight. You're not worthy of this bracelet!"

The female client looked embarrassed and wanted to say something in response, but Bonnie didn't give her a chance.

"Also, when you first came in to order your item, you were so generous and acted as if money wasn't an issue. Now that it's time for final payment, all sorts of issues come up. If you don't want it anymore, then leave! Don't come here causing trouble!" Yanis reached out and pulled Bonnie back before she could say more.

Bonnie had dealt with many clients like this before; she just wanted to find some excuse to withhold their final payment.

The troublesome female client was still trying to recover from being scolded by Bonnie when she retorted: "If I don't want it then I won't take it! It's so expensive yet ugly – who do they think they are – famous designers or something?"

Bonnie had initially held back because Yanis was there but after hearing the woman's comment about fake goods, she exploded again: "Say that again! Do YOU even recognize quality?! Fake?! Go buy one yourself and show me if there's any difference! You can just say whatever comes into your head without taking responsibility for your words?! What else do YOU want?"

"Bonnie." Yanis stepped forward and stood between them while addressing Miss Antar: "You may feel that this item isn't good-looking or doesn't suit your taste but calling it fake goods is unacceptable. Here's the price for the bracelet; go outside and find me one similar at a jewelry store - three times its value will be yours."

The woman sneered at Yanis' anger: "It's not real so why are getting worked up over nothing?"

Bonnie looked at him wearing his new bracelet and said: "You know what? Why don't you just calculate how much I owe you for this? Linda's birthday is coming up soon anyway; I'll give it to her as a gift."

Yanis raised an eyebrow at Bonnie: "Wow! You're such an extravagant boss! Are you spending millions?"

Bonnie played around with the bracelet on her wrist while saying softly: "Linda has been working hard alongside me for years now - this is nothing compared to what we've been through together. When our store first opened its doors nobody came by but Linda always encouraged me by telling me we'd become Manches City's top shop someday... she always made sure I stayed motivated even more than Myles did!"

Yanis laughed lightly after hearing all of these things from Bonnie: "Alright then... should I take off another button?"

Bonnie gestured towards herself before saying: "I think it fits perfectly fine on my wrist - It should fit Linda's too since hers isn't any different from mine... that other lady's wrists were too thin anyways - maybe they're malnourished or something!"

Hearing these words from Bonnie made Yanis chuckle again before asking jokingly : "How do YOU know they're malnourished?"

"It's obvious," replied Bonnie confidently . "Otherwise how else could someone say something so ridiculous?"

Yanis handed the box over to Bonnie. "She just tried it on, so it's not really second-hand, right?"

Bonnie took off the bracelet. "It's no big deal. I'll let her know when I see her. Besides, when you buy things yourself, sometimes they've been tried on by others too. It's not like it's something intimate that she wore on her body."
