Chapter 698: Induction of Labor

Phoebe saw that the Old Mrs. Lawrence had opened her mouth, so she quickly said, "I don't feel like I'm in a rush. I'll wait another two years..."

"Why don't you wait until your dad and I are six feet under before finding someone?" Rachel interrupted Phoebe before she could finish her sentence. "Look at all the people your age who are already married and have kids calling them mom and dad. Do you still think you're not in a rush?"

Phoebe rolled her eyes and quietly retorted, "My brother and sister-in-law haven't even had kids yet."

Yanis: "..."

Zane: "..."

After Phoebe finished speaking, the Old Mrs. Lawrence turned her attention to Zane and Yanis with some well-meaning advice. "Zane, Yanis, you two are also around the same age now; it's time to consider taking care of yourselves and having children."

Afterwards, the old lady looked at Sophia standing on one side of the room. "Go get me that recipe I asked for last time so Yanis can use it for his health regimen."

Sophia replied with an affirmative sound before turning around to retrieve what was requested.

Yanis gently squeezed Zane's thigh.

Zane cleared his throat lightly. "Grandma, Yanis and I will consider it; please don't worry about us."

"If I didn't worry about it then we'd have to wait until your grandfather and me were six feet under before seeing any grandchildren," replied Grandma.

Zane: "..."

Originally they came over for dinner but ended up being bombarded with pressure to get married or have children.

In the end Zane used work as an excuse to leave early with Yanis from The Lawrence's Mansion.

As they left Grandma called out something about giving them a recipe which supposedly helps fertility issues for them both to look at together later on.

At that moment Yanis thought - if he couldn't understand this prescription how could Zane?

How would looking at it together make any difference?

But then something else occurred to him...

"Linda doesn't want marriage or blind dates because... she hasn't let go of someone," said Yanis suddenly.

When Zane heard this he turned his head towards him immediately asking "You mean Ivan?"

Yan nodded back "Linda actually liked Ivan quite a bit."

Initially Phoebe may not have been very decisive due Neve's influence but eventually she found herself without any backbone whatsoever when making decisions regarding herself or others – always thinking everyone else was right without forming opinions of her own. If Phoebe had her own thoughts from the beginning, maybe the ending would be different. But no one can predict what will happen in the future.

Nowadays, although Phoebe still has feelings for Ivan, he is already engaged to Mila. Therefore, Phoebe is destined to have no more contact with Ivan in this lifetime.

"I don't see what's so great about Ivan," Zane said with a hint of bitterness in his tone.

Yanis smiled and said softly, "I think Ivan is pretty good."

When Zane heard Yanis' words, he turned to her and asked, "So does that mean Mrs. Lawrence thinks I'm not good enough?"

Yanis cleared her throat and asked him back, "Then tell me when and where did you see Mr. Weeks at a nightclub?"

Zane hesitated for a moment before replying awkwardly: "Uh... Albi went there."

Yanis chuckled and teased him further: "How do you know Albi saw Mr. Weeks?"

"Yanis," Zane replied seriously. "You have to trust men's instincts. The first time I saw him I knew he wasn't a good person."

Although Yanis wanted to tease him some more she decided against it after seeing how serious he was.

Back at D-King Castle...

As soon as they arrived Yanis got out of the car while waiting for Zane to park it properly.

Just then Bonnie called on the phone.

"Bonnie?" Yanis answered.

"Have you gone home or are you still at Lawrence Mansion?" Bonnie asked quietly on the other end of the line before continuing: "Myles and I are having dinner at Maple House when we met someone who seems like Zane's sister."

When Bonnie saw Yanis she waved her hand towards him while he sat down opposite her asking ,"Where are they?"

"They went... to wash their hands..." Before Bonnie could finish speaking someone ran out from one of restrooms shouting ,"Quick! Call an ambulance! Someone is hurt inside!"

The whole hall erupted into chaos right then as people started discussing what happened in hushed tones.

Yanish looked towards Zane saying ,"Go see what happened."

Zain exchanged glances with Myles before both headed towards restroom direction while Yannis followed behind along with Bonny

There were already several people gathered around outside restroom door whispering among themselves when they arrived."We were just about to leave after finishing our meal when we saw them come in. We decided to stay a little longer and I thought it would be best to call your older brother since there's some connection between us. The young girl with them looked nice enough, but if she goes down the wrong path, it'll be hard to bring her back," said Yanis.

There was a moment of silence before Yanis spoke again, "Wait there for a bit, we'll come over now."

"Okay," replied the other person on the phone before hanging up.

Yanis walked over to where Zane had parked his car and found him getting out of it. "What's up? Did you forget something in the car?" asked Zane.

Yanis shook his head and explained that Bonnie had called him saying that she had seen Aurora at Maple House with another man. "Do you want to go check it out?"

Zane didn't reply immediately but frowned slightly at Yanis' words. "It'll be hard to bring her back if she goes down the wrong path," he repeated what Yanis had said earlier.

Yanis nodded in agreement and added Bonnie's reasoning for their concern about Aurora. Zane hesitated for a few seconds before reaching for his phone, "I'll ask Albi to go."

But Yanis stopped him by placing a hand on his arm and suggested they go themselves since they couldn't sleep anyway due to their worries about Aurora. Zane eventually agreed after asking if Myles was also at Maple House with Bonnie.

They got into Zane's car with Yanis taking the passenger seat while Zane drove towards Maple House as quickly as possible considering how empty the roads were at this time of night.

Once they arrived at Maple House, they spotted Myles and Bonnie right away who waved excitedly when they saw them approach their table. After exchanging greetings briefly, Yanis asked where Aurora was only for someone else nearby shouting that someone inside needed help urgently because there was an injured person present!

The whole place erupted into chaos as people started panicking or trying desperately not get involved while others rushed towards where the commotion came from including both Myles and Zane who exchanged glances before heading towards one side of Maple House together while urging everyone else around them not follow behind recklessly without knowing what exactly happened yet.

Bonnie followed closely behind along with Yanis who kept quiet until he caught up with her near one of washrooms where several people already gathered outside discussing what might have happened inside moments ago...
