I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 520

Chapter 520: Not saved

When Linda heard Yanis' voice, she shouted with some excitement, "Yanis!"
Yanis pushed her way through the crowd and stood in front of Linda, "Why are you still arguing?"
Linda said with an indignant face, "They're too much, they're blocking this side, they're affecting the business next door."
Several cars were blocking the entrance, and with such a group of people, no one dared to come over to buy anything.
The boss next door called Bonnie directly and asked her to come and take care of it.
Yanis looked at the person standing in front of her, "Where's Mrs. Knight?"
Alina was sitting in the car and was slightly surprised when she saw Yanis coming.
Her main reason for coming here today was to meet Myles.
She just didn't expect Bonnie to come, so naturally, she couldn't see Myles.
So when she heard Yanis ask, Alina opened the car door and got out of the car and walked to the front of the crowd, "Miss Thompson, where is Miss Cooke?"
Yanis looked at Alina, "Bonnie she had something to do and couldn't come over, Mrs. Knight came at a really bad time."
Alina raised her hand and tossed her big curls, "That's still a bad coincidence, when I came here before Miss Cooke said the store was closed, said either come another day or find someone else, I chose the former, and now Miss Cooke is not coming out because of something, did I offend Miss Cooke in some way? "
"Mrs. Knight, Bonnie she is really something today, if you trust me, I can help you place an order first, and then when Bonnie is busy, please run again, come and talk to Bonnie about the details."
Yanis said here a slight pause, continued, "But I remember Mrs. Knight said yesterday that you need to use the dress soon, I think the time is too late."
Alina laughed lightly after hearing Yanis' words, "Miss Thompson, I have heard that Miss Cooke's workmanship is good, so I can put off the time until Miss Cooke designs my dress, but I always have to give me a time, right?"
Yanis did not expect Alina to be so persistent. After a long time of hesitation, Yanis said, "I'll ask Bonnie first, I can't give you a reply now."
Alina nodded, "Okay, you can call Miss Cooke first to see when she can have time to customize my dress."
Yanis answered and took the phone and went to the side to make the call.
When the phone was dialed, it was answered quickly, but instead of Bonnie's voice, it was Myles' voice, "Yanis, Aunt Isabel didn't make it back."
Yanis was stunned to hear Myles' voice, "When did this happen?"
"Just now."
After Myles' side paused, "Is there something you're looking for Bonnie?"
Yanis answered, "Nothing, where is Bonnie? Are you okay?"
"She's still in the hospital room and won't let me in." Yanis said.
Yanis said, "I'll come over later."
Yanis hung up the phone after saying that.
When Yanis returned to the group, Alina looked at Yanis first.
Yanis first looked at Linda, "Go print a notice of the store's seven-day break and post it on the door."
Linda was a little shocked when she heard Yanis' words and wanted to ask something, but swallowed her words and nodded gently toward Yanis, "Okay, I'll go now."
"Miss Thompson, what does that mean?"
Yanis sniffed and then looked at Alina, "Mrs. Knight, I'm afraid you can't take this order, if you can really wait, then wait seven days and then come back, sorry."
Yanis turned around and prepared to leave after saying that.
Just two steps away, Alina's men blocked the way.
Yanis stopped and looked at Alina.
Alina walked up to Yanis, "Miss Thompson, is this your idea or Miss Cooke's?"
Yanis looked at Alina with straight eyes, "It doesn't matter if it's what I mean or what Bonnie means."
Alina stared at Yanis for a few seconds and raised her hand, "Let Miss Thompson go."
The people in front of Yanis, after hearing Alina's words, all took two steps back to the side to make way for Yanis.
Yanis glanced at Alina's face as she walked away, nodded at her, and turned to leave.
Anika stood right at the back of the crowd, ready to see what happened.
If these people get rowdy, she'll be the first to call the police.
Now watching Yanis walk out of the crowd, Anika took two steps forward to meet her, "Sister-in-law, is it settled?"
Yanis hmmm, "Get in the car first, let's go to the hospital."
Anika oh, quickly followed Yanis into the car.
"Sister-in-law, who are all these people? How come they come to Bonnie's side?"
"A client came to see you Bonnie to make a dress, and the timing didn't work out."
Yanis explained casually.
The road from the studio to the hospital is a little far, and there are many cars on several necessary roads.
When they arrived at the hospital it was already forty minutes later.
Yanis hurried to Isabel's ward when it was already empty.
Yanis turned around and asked the doctor, only to learn that Isabel's body had been placed in the morgue, waiting for the family to complete all the formalities and be picked up by the crematorium.
Yanis saw Bonnie in front of the morgue.
Myles was standing a few steps away from Bonnie.
Bonnie was standing in front of the morgue, not knowing what she was thinking.
Yanis went up and greeted Myles first, "Been standing here for a long time?"
When Myles heard Yanis' voice, he took his eyes off Bonnie's body and looked at Yanis, "Did you take care of things at the studio?"
Yanis hmmed, "Almost done, I'll go check on Bonnie first."
Myles nodded, "Persuade her."
Yanis answered and lifted her foot towards Bonnie.
Yanis lifted his feet and stood next to Bonnie, and called out softly, "Bonnie?"
Bonnie answered slowly, "Coming?"
Yanis said, "Are all the formalities done?"
Bonnie nodded her head.
The two of them just stood there, and for a while Yanis couldn't find the right words to comfort Bonnie.
After all, such a thing does not speak of what empathy, and there is no empathy.
"Yanis."
When Yanis was thinking about how to comfort Bonnie, Bonnie suddenly called out to her.
Yanis answered and looked at her with her head, "What's wrong?"
"What do you think is going on in her mind? Isn't it good to live well?"
Yanis listened to Bonnie's words and didn't know how to take them.
Before she could say anything, Bonnie's voice rang out again, "When she was leaving, she said she asked me to forgive her, and before I could respond to her, she left first."
"Do you think she did it on purpose? Purposely just say something in such a hurry and then just walk away, just so she would think I would forgive her?"
Yanis stood by Bonnie's side quietly listening to all she wanted to say before Yanis reached out and gave Bonnie a hug.
