As soon as the three of them entered, Magnus looked up, "You guys all come together?"
Yanis changed shoes at the entrance and said, "We met at the door."
Magnus beckoned to Yanis, "Come and sit down."
Bonnie, who was a step behind, pretended to be angry when Magnus called Yanis first, "Okay, I'll go, you can't even see me."
Hearing her words, Old Mr. Duncan glanced at Bonnie's face, and immitated tone, "Yanis didn't visit me because she was busy. What about you? You haven't come here for a long time too."
Bonnie coughed to cover her sense of guilt, and quickly changed shoes at the entrance. "Hey, Mr. Duncan, you know what? I miss you, every day. "
The Old Mr. Duncan looked dissatisfied. "But you didn't visit me even once. Are we separated by thousands of miles? Must you travel many years to get here?"
Bonnie was amused by Magnus. "Mr. Duncan, I suppose you've been checking your phone a lot?"
Magnus raised his hand and nodded to Bonnie, then pointed to the sofa next to him, "Have a seat."
Bonnie sighed and pulled Yanis to the sofa.
Then Magnus looked at the things Iris was carrying. "Why did you bring gifts?"
Although Magnus was looking at Iris, the question was for Yanis and Bonnie.
Yanis replied softly, "We just happened to pass by a store, so we bought something."
Iris put the things aside, turned around, and sat down next to Magnus, "It's all for you, just take it."
Magnus glanced at Iris's face and saw no emotion in it, "Didn't you say you wouldn't be back tonight?"
Iris glanced at Yanis's face from the corner of his eye, then replied, "I have finished the business at hand, where should I go if not home?"
Usually Magnus would reply, "Go back to your own house!"
But Magnus didn't say so tonight. He looked at his watch, "Go check if dinner is ready. I'll talk to Yanis."
Bonnie stood up immediately after Magnus spoke, "You guys can catch up. I'll check out dinner with Iris."
After speaking, Bonnie looked at Iris.
Iris also stood up and said, "Yeah, enjoy it."
Magnus snorted softly, "Smart."
Bonnie went to the kitchen with Iris.
After the two left, Magnus looked at Yanis, "Did you meet Anna today?"
Yanis looked at Magnus in shock.
When Yanis looked over, Magnus chuckled, "Iris didn't say it, but Anna's father called and said Iris had mistreated his daughter. He wants an apology."
Hearing Magnus's words, Yanis frowned wrongly, "It has nothing to do with Iris, it was me..."
Magnus stopped Yanis before she finished her sentence, "It doesn't matter."
Yanis looked down at the invitation letter in her hand for a moment, then closed it again, "I'll think about it."
Magnus nodded, "Just give me a reply in three days. If you don't have time or don't want to go, just tell me. Anyway, you are still young, and you will have another chance in the future, but I hope you don't go and put this talent on hold for other reasons. You have to show it in this industry."
Yanis responded, "Okay, I will think about it carefully."
Magnus nodded, "Take it. There is a business card inside, just contact them and tell them you are recommended by me. They will tell you the details of this competition."
Yanis hummed, "Okay."
In front of the bar, Bonnie looked into the living room, holding her face while drinking juice, "Are you worried Mr. Duncan will talk with Yanis about what happened today?"
Hearing Bonnie's words, Iris looked away, "No."
Bonnie put the cup in her hand on the counter, "Iris, Yanis is a stubborn person. Once she is in love, it will never stop."
Iris frowned slightly, "You mean Mr. Lawrence?"
Bonnie looked at Iris, "Zane did wrong things before. I was desperately trying to match Ivan and Yanis. I thought Zane was not good enough for her. Then I realized even if they broke up, Yanis still wouldn't choose Ivan."
"So... even without Zane, Yanis and you will be no more than friends."
Hearing Bonnie's words, Iris nodded, "I know."
Having said that, Iris paused, "So you are persuading me to learn the lesson from Mr. Baxter?"
Bonnie smiled. "Why not? No one will stand still in the same place for a lifetime. You like Yanis, but nothing will change."
