I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 1107

Chapter 1107: Mr. Hawkins' Boundless Indulgence for You

Sandy rolled her eyes, "Who knows if you might come all the way here to start a fight."

Anthony chuckled, "Alright, if you put it that way, how about this: I'll fight Mr. Hawkins before I leave."

"You dare!"

"Isn't that what you're thinking? Don't you want to see who's better between me and Mr. Hawkins?"

"You can't beat him!" Sandy stated confidently.

Anthony clicked his tongue, "You really don't consider my feelings at all, Sandy. Except for Mr. Hawkins, you're like a stone in front of everyone else, right?"

"Not true, there's also my sister, Yanis, Bonnie, and..."

"Stop, stop, stop!"

Before Sandy could finish counting, Anthony interrupted her, "No matter how you count, I'm not in that range, am I?"

Sandy looked at Anthony and burst into laughter, "You really don't know anything about yourself, do you? Well, in a way, you're my lifesaver."

Anthony snorted, "I've never seen anyone treat their lifesaver like you do."

"But you're seeing it now, aren't you?"

Anthony was momentarily speechless by Sandy's retort. He stared at her for a few seconds and said softly, "I really pity Mr. Hawkins."

Sandy glanced at him, "What are you saying?"

"Well, what I mean is... only Mr. Hawkins would indulge you without any limits."

Anthony's voice was gentle, "Although I have feelings for you, some sort of sentiment, I believe that if we were together, we would be arguing every three days, having big fights every five days, and maybe even tearing each other apart over minor disagreements."

Sandy nodded in agreement, "So, it's not suitable, not compatible."

Anthony nodded with a smile, "So, should we continue being friends?"

Sandy followed suit with a nod, "Agreed."

Anthony wasn't usually talkative, at least among those who knew him, he was considered quiet. However, Sandy was an exception when she was around Anthony.

He always had a lot to say to Sandy, and they could chat about anything under the sun.

So, throughout the entire afternoon, after eating and even having a drink, Sandy only vomited once.

Perhaps her attention was diverted.

This made Brandon, who had been helpless for the past few days, feel as if he had discovered a new continent.

Before, Brandon would have definitely wished that Sandy and Anthony would never meet again in their lifetime.

But at this moment, Brandon actually wanted Anthony to stay in Viteto for a few more days.

Maybe Anthony sensed what was on Brandon's mind. He ended up staying in Viteto for three or four more days before returning to Manches City.

During this time, Jones, along with a few people who had a good relationship with Sandy in the industry, came to chat with her every day, sharing bits of gossip among women.

So for the past few days, Sandy hadn't been as dizzy and confused as before.

At least, after eating, she didn't immediately vomit everything out.

And the frequency of vomiting wasn't as high as before.

Sandy looked at Brandon and asked, "Are you saying you're shifting your focus to Manches City?"

Brandon hummed in agreement, toying with Sandy's hair, and said softly, "If you stay with me in Viteto, even though you can come back anytime, it's not the same. Mom has big brother and sister-in-law here, but in Manches City, there's only my sister."

After hearing Brandon's words, Sandy didn't respond immediately. She turned around and hugged Brandon tightly. After a while, she said in a muffled voice, "Anthony was right."

Brandon held Sandy in his arms and gently inquired, "What did Anthony say?"

"He said, except for you, no one else is suitable for me. Anyone else who stays with me will be worn out sooner or later."

Brandon couldn't help but laugh, "Do you believe whatever he says?"

"Why wouldn't I? He said that although he's interested in me and has feelings for me, if we were together, we'd be bickering every three days, having major fights every five days, and might even end up tearing each other apart."

"What about me?"

"You're different. No matter how much I cause a ruckus, you'll always be infinitely tolerant of me, as if you have no bottom line."

Brandon looked at Sandy and just smiled, without directly addressing her statement.

"Is the matter from last time completely resolved?" Sandy didn't continue the previous topic but brought up a new one.

Brandon hummed, "Compensation has been provided for what needed to be compensated, and they also had their own negligence. It's not entirely our fault."

They cut corners and caused losses not just to steal some money in the middle, but it ended up harming both themselves and others.

Originally, Brandon didn't need to compensate on his side. But considering the person was gone, some understanding was necessary. So Brandon still offered compensation to pacify the family.

After hearing Brandon's words, Sandy gently held Brandon's face in her hands and said earnestly, "Our Brandon is the best!"
