When Haider spoke, Nolan's face changed completely. He looked at Haider and said in a low voice, "Haider, don't you think you're going too far?"
Haider looked calmly at Nolan and replied, "Mr. Read sent someone to cause trouble at Bonnie's place. If she had been hurt, was Mr. Read ready to sacrifice himself?"
Upon hearing about the incident at Bonnie's place, Haider immediately left the high-level meeting and rushed over. After watching the surveillance footage, Haider's expression remained cold.
In the past, he had been polite to Nolan, but now, Haider's attitude was distant and cold. Nolan didn't expect Haider to show no mercy and be so aggressive.
The Read family had gained some standing in Manches City thanks to Myles and Haider's help, but they were still dependent on others. Once they were left on their own, they couldn't stand steady.
Seeing Haider's stern attitude, Nolan and Jenny were taken aback. They thought that Haider wouldn't really go through the legal process even if he didn't give them face.
At this moment, Jenny tried to morally pressure Haider, "Haider, for your sake, Yoyo risked her life. Now, are you planning to wipe us out completely?"
Jenny was trying to hold Bonnie and Haider responsible for what happened to Mia, but it was evident that Mia's actions were unrelated to Bonnie or Haider.
Before Jenny could finish speaking, Haider's voice interrupted her, "According to Mrs. Read's wishes, what should we do then?"
Jenny was startled by Haider's response and couldn't immediately answer. However, before she could speak, two more people walked into the room: Travis and Freddy.
When Nolan and Jenny saw Travis and Freddy enter, they couldn't help but feel a bit guilty. Travis was ruthless when he was young and had made a name for himself in Manches City. Everyone knew how important Bonnie was to Travis, and now they had acted against her. Naturally, Travis wouldn't easily let it go.
Travis first looked at Bonnie to ensure she was okay before turning to face Nolan and Jenny.
Nolan was at a loss when faced with Travis's gaze. Travis's attitude was unpredictable. Nolan knew how important Bonnie was to Travis, so he couldn't confront him directly.
Travis walked a few steps closer to Nolan and spoke calmly, "How do you want to handle this situation?"
Nolan was still trying to figure out Travis's stance when he hesitated to respond. But before Nolan could say anything, Travis spoke first, "Since you don't know how to handle it, then follow Haider's suggestion and go through the legal process. The losses in Bonnie's store should be fully compensated."
Nolan's eyes widened in shock at Travis's words. He had never expected Travis to take it this far.
Lane looked at Nolan and Jenny, and after receiving a nod from Travis, he replied, "Alright."
Nolan and Jenny were now feeling flustered. But they didn't want to lose face, so they didn't make a scene. After all, they were in the police station.
Travis then turned to Bonnie and Yanis and said softly, "Let Haider take you home first. Your father and I will handle things here."
Bonnie looked at Travis and started to speak, "Grandfather, I..."
Yanis added, "I'll drive myself. It's more convenient. Haider must have things to take care of as well."
Haider confirmed, "Not that busy."
Yanis said, "I'll drive myself. It's okay; I have something to do later."
After hearing Yanis, Haider and Bonnie didn't say anything more.
"Then I'll go in now," Bonnie said after saying goodbye to Yanis and Haider and got out of the car to enter Cooke Residence.
After watching Bonnie enter Cooke Residence, Haider drove away.
Haider then dropped Yanis off at the store entrance. "Haider, I'll be busy for a bit."
There were still things to clean up in the store.
Haider looked at the messy store entrance and asked, "Do you need me to call someone to help?"
