Honey, I'll Make You a Star novel Chapter 57

Chapter 57 The Meeting

Charleston pursed his lips.

The room suddenly fell into silence.

When Margaret heard the name, her whole body quivered.

Suanne Adams.

If she remembered correctly, she had covered Suanne's shift at the hotel that year when she was secretly drugged by Stephanie.

That was the night she slept with an unfamiliar man...

When she thought of what had happened that year, her face uncontrollably turned pale.

Was the Suanne outside the same Suanne whom she knew?

"Let her in," Charleston said in a low voice.

"Okay." Larry nodded.

Soon, a beautiful figure walked in.

The woman was wearing a pink mermaid dress which accentuated her perfect figure. The lower part of the dress was designed with scales that were made of special materials.

Margaret's eyes fell on Suanne's face in an instant.

It was her.

Even though her features looked a little different, and she had a different aura about her now...

Margaret still recognized her.

The person who stood in front of her now really was Suanne, her friend who she went way back with.

"I didn't expect Mr. Limbaugh to be here. You won't mind if I come and bother you a little, right?" Suanne's voice was gentle and pleasant.

"Have a seat." Charleston said.

Suanne sat down and looked at Margaret in surprise. "This is..."

"This is Margaret, my... companion!" Charleston wanted to say that she was his girlfriend, but he was worried that he would make Margaret unhappy.

She already felt so aggrieved when he asked her to dance with him.

If he were to say that she was his girlfriend in front of others, his little one would probably get angry.

Mr. Limbaugh sighed heavily in his heart.

There was nothing he could do about it. The little one he fancied was strong-willed.

And the way Margaret was now by Charleston's side again...

Was this fate?

Suanne had such a big advantage, but she still could not get close to Charleston.

However, Margaret had become Charleston's female companion right after entering his life.

Suanne's heart was a panicked mess.

"I didn't expect to either." Margaret said and put on her mask.

Charleston slightly frowned and asked, "You guys are classmates?"

"Yes, we're college classmates! But we never met again after graduating!" Suanne smiled.

Charleston nodded.

After waking up that night, Charleston completely felt nothing for Suanne.

However, since the both of them had indeed spent the night together, Charleston could offer her anything but his feelings.

The Limbaugh Group had used up all of their connections on Suanne, helping her go from being an average girl into becoming a popular artist.
