The anxious person in charge realized that the man in front of her was not someone to be messed around with, so she quickly handed over the information form left by Margaret. "This is the information left by the lady who found your wallet. If there is any problem, you'd better ask her directly."
Charleston took the form, and his eyes widened as he read the piece of paper. He raised his thin lips and murmured, "Margaret Simons?"
Larry immediately dialed her number, but her phone was off. "Sir..." Larry informed Charleston about this.
Charleston's face turned grim. He rushed out and said, "Don't stop until you get her."
"Yes, Sir." Larry quickly nodded.
...
"We've arrived at your destination, Miss!" the taxi driver shouted.
Margaret stuffed her mobile phone into her bag and paid the driver in cash. She then got out of the car with her luggage.
The accommodation assigned by her company was just an ordinary residential building, but as an unknown artist who had just closed a contract with an entertainment company, Margaret was really satisfied with what she saw.
Her apartment had one bedroom and one living room. It was brand new and was just enough for one person to stay in.
The house was also fully furnished. Margaret only needed to move her personal items in and her place would be ready.
Margaret kept her bag in the cabinet and locked it up. Then, she took out her mobile phone to charge. A number popped up on screen when the phone was switched on.
"Miss Lance," Margaret answered the phone.
"This is Margaret, right? There will be an audition for a minor female character on Ancient Star. The venue is at Oak Theater, and I have already arranged everything for you. Just tell them that you are an actress from Galaxy Entertainment when you get there." Sandra Lance said impatiently.
Even though Margaret had signed a contract with Galaxy Entertainment, she didn't have a contract with Sandra. Thus, it was a waste of time for Sandra to help Margaret contact the crew.
"I'm already four years old. I'm an adult now, so I won't cry." Beanie answered in a resentful yet firm tone.
After chatting with Beanie for some time, Margaret suddenly remembered that it was already late night in Milesburg.
"Okay, Beanie, go to sleep. I'm sleepy too and I'm ready to rest." Margaret instructed while rubbing her eyes.
"Mmm okay, have a good rest." Beanie reluctantly hung up.
Margaret was indeed exhausted. She switched her phone into silent mode and was fast asleep.
Unknowingly, Margaret's phone had received hundreds of missed calls during her sleep.
When the blinding sun shined through her window the next day, Margaret opened her eyes.
