I pulled on my leather pants and sports bra and headed downstairs. Today was for hunting. I had lost the first game to Gardenia. I walked downstairs nonchalantly and into the open field where the audience and spectators had gathered.

Thane sat in his throne, Jairus on his left. The throne on the right was empty. The rules for the second game was stated out. Two hours to hunt. The one with the most kill wins the round. We entered the forest through separate routes.

For the first thirty minutes I chased a rabbit. Stumbling and hurting myself but never catching it. I sighed in frustration and sat in defeat.

"Giving up already?" I turned to the voice and saw the woman from yesterday.

"I tried my best"

"Yeah I saw. You're extremely horrible at hunting" way to make me feel better.

"What exactly are you doing here?"

"To watch the competition of course"

"You knew?"

"Of course I did. Wait here" she went away for a while and returned with three rabbits.

"What?"

"You'll never win by playing fair. How do you think you got missing yesterday. Bitch changed the directions"

"How do you know that?"

"Same way I know you're a virgin"

"How do you even know that!"

"You don't want to know" she disappeared again and returned with a deer.

"Now for the last one, we have to catch a boar"

"We? A boar?"

"Yes. A boar. A wild one"

"That's risky"

"Life is full of risks"

"I'm going back"

"Do you want to lose your precious king to some slimy she wolf. Never touch him, never to kiss him, living the rest of your life imagining her hands on him . . ."

After a while, the results were announced. It was a tie. Gardenia had more kills than I did but killing a boar outweighed her deers.

The result wasn't that great to me but I didn't loose this round to her. I dug my hands through my hair as I walked to my room. I removed the twigs in my hair while humming a tune.

My room door flew open and Lily ran inside.

"Goddess. You look terrible" she examined my face for injuries as she sunk down beside me. Althea strode in moments later.

"How did you manage to capture a boar" I shrugged. She looked at me suspiciously and entered the bathroom.

"I've drawn you a bath." I really needed it. My body was exhausted from all the running I'd been doing before the old woman came along. I quickly undressed and got into the bathtub. I sighed as the hit water soothed my tired muscles.

"You've gained the hearts of many" I listened with interest. "Both werewolf and halfbreed alike. Some of us want you to be there because, you being there gives us hope for a brighter future." I smiled.

"The others are jealous. They're stupid enough to want to take your place. As if the King could tolerate them" she huffed. I heard the sound of my bedroom door close as they both left, Althea talking loudly and Lily, quiet as usual. I zoned out and focused on my thoughts. If I won this competition, we may finally consummate our bond. The thought caused me to tingle between my legs. I tweaked my nipples and bit my lip to stifle my moans.

I tugged hard on them and threw my head back in pleasure. I imagined it was Thane doing it. I imagined his rough, big hands on my and I groaned lowly. I clenched my thighs tightly as my clit throbbed in arousal.
