For the first time in his entire life, Tobias didn’t regret acting on his urges. Holding Amara, feeling her bare skin against his, feeling the heat that radiated from her body and her breathless moans and meager struggles, it felt good.
He allowed his hand to roam her body freely, exploring the curves that he hadn’t seen, hadn’t touched, hadn’t felt, and hadn’t made love to in such a long time.
It felt good, to the point that Tobias briefly regretted his decision to divorce Amara. It was brief, but the thought crossed his mind, making him doubt that decision he had made and causing him to think that if he had a chance to go back to that day he had proposed a divorce, he'd choose differently.
But that’s just what it was, a thought, and it was squashed the moment the fog in Amara’s mind cleared and she shoved Tobias away.
“You’re really crossing the line now, Tobias,” Amara warned, putting her nightgown’s sleeves back in place. “Why are still so unreasonable?”
“Unreasonable?” Tobias challenged, taking a step forward.
This time however, Amara didn’t hesitate to shove him backwards.
“Don’t you dare come closer.” She sneered. “Or else, I’ll really call the police.”
Tobias scoffed, and then sighed, he seemed to be doing that a lot these days.
“You pretend as if you hate me yet your body says another thing. Are you even aware of that?”
Amara’s eye twitched. “I’m I aware of that?” She parroted and glared defiantly at him. “And are you aware that what you’re doing is called sexual harassment?”
“Sexual harassment?”
“Yes, wanna see what the police would say to this?” Without waiting for a response, Amara stormed towards her phone and called the police.
Tobias once again sighed. This was more trouble than any business deal he had ever taken on.

Under the charges of sexual harassment, the police arrived at Amara’s house in less than ten minutes.
Tobias had still stubbornly refused to leave, perhaps it was because he believed he was untouchable and that notion was proven eighty percent correct when the police showed up and were stunned to see he was the reported offender.
Thus, he nodded.
“Ah, Miss, you’d also be needed at the station to give your statement, if it’s not too much trouble, could you come along.”
Amara was more than happy to comply with the request, she even threw in a fake smile for extra measure. “I don’t mind at all.”
With that said, Tobias, Amara and the officers left the house and made their way to the police station.

At the station, Amara was seated beside Tobias, and in the seats opposite them sat the two officers, the older officer had his notepad out, ready to write down her statement.
“Miss, could you please recount what had happened?”
“I was working late into the night when my door bell rang, I opened the door and found this bas- Mr. Larsen standing outside. When I refused his coming in, he forced his way in. We had a little altercation, he accused me of some stuff and I defended myself. Then,” She paused and glared at Tobias, her expression was filled with disgust. “He tried to sexually harass me.”
