Lilith had brought the woman here.
When Elliot informed Lilith that Hayden was looking for a girlfriend, Lilith immediately brought a new model from her firm over.
Lilith had a great sense of beauty, and the woman she brought with her was young, slender, and exceptionally beautiful.
"Hayden, this is Meryl, a new model whom I recruited recently. She is nineteen this year," Lilith said to Hayden with a smile.
Hayden stared at Meryl for a few moments, before turning to look at Elliot, knowing that Elliot must have told Lilith something.
"Hello, Meryl," Hayden said. "I'm starving. Let's eat!"
Elliot could tell that Hayden was upset and wondered if something bad had happened with the young woman Tammy had introduced to him.
He took out his phone and typed a message before showing it to Avery.
Avery had been staring at him ever since he had pulled his phone under the table. As soon as she saw the message, she grabbed her phone and began typing. [It didn't work out. Our son has high standards and doesn't want us to set him up anymore. He said that he will look for someone on his own, so let's stay out of it.]
"What are you two doing under the table?" Lilith asked when she noticed their typing.
Avery looked up and smiled. "Your brother is asking where Tammy is."
"Yeah, why isn’t Tammy here?" Lilith asked. "You were together this morning, right?"
"She will come by at night! You guys should join us as well," Avery said. "We ordered two sets of menus to see which tastes better"
"Aunt Lilith, did Dad tell you about this? My dad didn't even say anything to me," Layla said. "Ivy told me and I leaped into action right away. It's the first time my brother has ever wanted a girlfriend."
"I told you that your brother can have any girl he wants!" Amy had only come because Layla asked her to do so. "You didn't even need to get involved."
Amy was in a long-term relationship but had recently broken up with her boyfriend. Still, she knew that she was not a good match for Hayden.
"I think you are great! You said that Hayden was handsome before, didn't you?" Layla desperately wanted her best friend to date her brother.
Avery glanced at Hayden, who had fallen silent.
"Alright, we are all starving. Let's dig in!" Avery smiled and said.
