After he zoomed in on the picture and saw what was happening, he frowned.
He dialed Wesley.
Wesley took it in seconds.
"Wesley, you are such a despicable man!" Elliot scolded angrily, "I always thought you wouldn’t do such an unprofessional thing, but I didn't expect..."
"You're right." Wesley interrupted him, " You can scold me, but don't blame Shea."
Elliot's breathing became heavier, and his teeth clenched.
"Today is Valentine's Day, and Shea wanted to get the certificate today, so I agreed to that."
Wesley explained why they did so, "We came to the Civil Registry Office at 6 o'clock this morning to line up."
Elliot swallowed the angry scolding from his mouth.
Everyone had the right to pursue happiness, including Shea.
If Shea brought up this matter, there's no use putting the blame on Wesley.
"Wesley, is my brother calling you?" Shea’s voice came from the other side of the phone.
Elliot was in a fit of anger now, and to prevent himself from saying more emotional words, he hung up the phone.
He needed to calm down.
In the past few days, Shea had been with Wesley.
They went skiing and didn't come back until last night.
And because it was too late last night, she didn’t return home but instead went directly to Wesley's house.
"I never thought of Shea as a burden."
"That’s not what I meant." Mrs.Scarlet explained, "I think Shea :g+;TJV< Wesley may be happier together. Just like you are happiest with Avery and your three children."
When Mrs.Scarlet said this, Elliot's anger disappeared.
Although he could take care of Shea, he had Avery and three children, so the energy allocated for Shea was definitely not as much as before.
She might feel more secure with Wesley by her side.
At ten in the morning, he came to his company.
This is the first time he has returned to the company after transferring his shares last year and quitting Sterling Group.
Everyone knew Elliot would come to the company today, so they arrived earlier.
