His Destructive, Toxic Love novel Chapter 711

The doorbell rang out of nowhere.

Eliza gently slipped Casper's hand off her waist, "I'll check who it is."

She threw on a robe, still barefoot, and made her way to the door.

Peeking through the peephole... it was Gabe.

Why was he here again?

Eliza hesitated about opening the door for him.

But the persistent doorbell cut through her indecision.

As she opened the door, Gabe stood there looking a bit surprised at the sight of a woman who seemed like she’d just rolled out of bed. "Did I catch you at a bad time?"

"What's up?"

"There's a boat trip today, want to join for some rowing later?" He asked with the easy familiarity of an old pal.

Eliza did have rowing on her agenda.

But she wasn't sure when exactly.

There was a man sprawled out in her bed, after all, and she couldn't just ditch him to hang out with Gabe, a friend she barely knew.

"You go on ahead; I'll decide later." She declined politely.

Gabe didn't press, "Alright then, I'll head over first."

Once the door was shut, Eliza breathed a sigh of relief.

Only to find herself face-first into a solid chest.

Casper was standing there, bare-chested and with just a towel around his waist, clearly fresh from a shower, his hair still damp.

His long arms wrapped around her between his body and the door, leaning in slightly, "Is that Allysha's boyfriend again?"

"Yeah." She looked up at him, being honest.

He seemed a bit annoyed, "What's his deal? Is he into you?"

"What would he see in me? We've only known each other for two days."

She tried to push him away to get ready, only for him to pin her against the door.

In the blink of an eye, his lips were on hers, possessive and demanding.

She was getting a bit fed up.

"Casper, could you stop acting like a kid, please?"

"You can treat me like a son if you want." He wasn't bothered by such things, finding them rather amusing, "I'm fine with that."

"I already have two sons. If you're up for it..." she turned around, playfully wrapping her arms around his neck, smiling, "...you can be my daughter."

"Switching genders isn’t on my list." He picked her up onto the vanity, "How about we just hang out here today... and spend the day together, huh?"

"Didn't last night wear you out?"

The field never tires, but the ox sure can.

She wasn't having any of that.

"Death by pleasure." His voice was husky, tempting, as he kissed softly along her neck.

Eliza let out a silent sigh, pushing him away again, "Alright, go get dressed. Let's go rowing. If you're not coming, I might just join Gabe."

"That's not happening." He gently lifted her down from the vanity, tender but firm, "If he tries anything with you, he’ll regret it."

Eliza just shook her head with a smile.
