"Where’s mommy?! Where’s papa! I want to go to mommy and papa! Take me to them! Take me to mommy and papa."

Ace cried out loud while moving his hands around to get out of Suzanne’s hold.He has been like this for the past one hour.

After everyone took Dominic and Athena to the hospital, Suzanne walked to their mansion to stay with Ace.

Because only she would be able to handle him when he wakes up and doesn’t find his mommy.

But right now she was doubting her capabilities.

There was still time for sunrise.

Ace suddenly woke up in the middle of the night, around one hour ago and started crying.

When Suzanne tried to calm him down, he said something about his mommy and papa getting hurt and he wanted to go to them.

Now the question is, how does he always know whenever Athena is sad? This time Dominic included! That made her question herself if he had any special power… 

"Shh, Ace baby, calm down.Mommy and papa are sleeping.Why don’t you sleep as well?" She asked in a soothing tone, trying to divert his mind but that seemed to anger him as he cried louder.

"No, aunt Suzy! You can’t put me to sleep like always.I will not sleep.I want to go to mommy.I want to go to papa"

He cried and tried to push his way out of her arms but she held him strongly.

She hugged him tightly, feeling really bad for the child. Both of his parents were in the hospital bed.

What could be worse than this? 

"Shh baby, please don’t cry.Mommy and papa are going to be so sad if they find out that you are crying so much.They are going to be so sad and even scold Aunt Suzy.Do you want me to get scolded?" She asked while rocking him back and forth.

At last, she didn’t have any other way other than blackmailing him.She knew that he loved her a lot and did not say anything after that.

And that’s what happened.He quieted down after hearing her.

"No."

He mumbled out after a few seconds as he hid her face at the crook of her neck while wrapping his small arms around her.It was his way of telling her that he was going to protect her from everything.

Suzanne’s heart filled with love at that.

"That’s right, baby.So, can you please let Aunt Suzy put you to sleep? I promise when you wake up, mommy and papa are going to be beside you." She said while kissing his forehead and hiding her teary eyes in the process.

Ace and Athena were so precious to her and she didn’t even know why! Maybe that is what true love is.

It doesn’t have to be romantic everytime.

She was grateful to the moon goddess for blessing her with this kind of love.

Athena was just like her sister which she never had.

"You promise, aunt Suzy?"

Ace’s cute voice pulled her out of her thoughts and she looked down at her innocent tear filled eyes with a smile.

"I promise, my baby." She said while wiping away the tears which rolled down his chubby cheeks.

"Okay, put me to sleep." Ace said while hugging her again, not saying anything else after that.

That made her smile at his cuteness.

So precious! After that, she started to hum a lullaby while caressing his hair and in a minute he was back to sleep.It is the same lullaby she sings for him everytime.

"Love you, my baby."

She whispered while kissing his forehead very softly and lovingly after putting him back on the bed.She covered him with the quilt.

"Did he sleep?"

Suddenly a voice asked from the door which made her jump as she wasn’t in the right set of her mind.She turned around after recognising the voice.

"You scared me.For how long have you been here?" She asked while walking toward his opened arms and hugged him.

"He indeed is.After all Dominic and Athena are his parents.What else do you expect?" Nathan joked with a small chuckle but at the mention of Athena, Suzanne couldn’t smile happily.

A look of worry plastered on her face and her eyes welled up again.

"What’s going to happen to them, Nathan?" She asked in a defeated tone.

She was tired of everything happening to them.

"Nothing is going to happen to them, Suzanne.They are going to be absolutely fine.They are stronger than this.They will fight through this in no time." Nathan said in an assuring yet confident filled tone.

He was sure they were going to come out strong.

"Yes.I want them to be happy.I want their misery to end, Nathan I can’t see them like this anymore."

Suzanne softly cried out, unable to hold her tears any longer.

Nathan immediately hugged her to comfort her but he didn’t have any words to stop her from crying.

"I want the same, Suzanne.Trust me.I want the same." He said with a sigh while sending a small prayer for both of them to the moon goddess.

They stayed in each other’s arms for a few minutes before she pulled away and looked at him with a small frown.

"Did you talk to the doctor? What did he say? What happened to Athena? How’s Dominic?" She asked in a eagered tone.

A deep frown came up on his face after hearing her and that put a frown on her face as well.

"You are scaring me, Nathan." She said and he let out a sigh after hearing that.

"I don’t know what to say, Suzanne. Athena fainted because of exhaustion and anxiety.After all, she shifted after so long.It has gotten into her.But she will wake up soon.But Dominic…"

He trailed off, a blank look appeared on his face.

"And Dominic?" She asked in a fearful tone.

"He might fall into a coma."
